As far as grumpy goes, it doesn't happen often...and never on lit. This is entertainment. If I'm not entertained, I do something else. My personality tends to be direct and my humor can have a bite which, because there is no tone and no facial expressions, some tend to interpret in other ways. The funny thing I've discovered here is there is a gender bias. Plp and indie can have a sharp tongue with their humor but everyone gets they are being funny. OP is the one that really made the gender gap clear. Give that woman a crack and she will "sweep the leg" and not think twice. It's awesome and hysterical. Everyone gets it.
I took what I thought was a fun shot at Bambi years ago and was excommunicated until recently paroled.
