Oh I read the articles, and I go and look for more information. I don’t just take the right wing “journalism” at face value because rarely does it have full details or even have details that match the headlines.

They seem to count on right wing readers not actually reading the articles and getting all excited over the headlines. Which seems to happen on these boards frequently.

Upon actual inspection, they are just a hollow as your arguments. You run the campaign in the 3rd district in NY? Feels like your “work”.

The fact that a hyper partisan Republican appointed “Judge” gave “Karen” Lake a pass on paying the full $700,000 for what is obviously a meritless case does not mitigate the frivolous nature of the case OR the dangerous precedent it sets for future frivolous challenges to free and fair elections.

If Lake appeals the judgement, I found myself wondering whether the other side in the matter could resurrect the issue of the $700,000 in costs that the Judge did not award against her. I don't know the answer and it might depend on the particulars and limits of any appeal. Might be fun though.

The Arizona Court of Appeals affirmed a ruling in Hobbs' victory over Lake on Thursday. Lake claimed she's now sending her lawsuit to the state Supreme Court.

It seems that this has become a behaviour, not limited to the political sphere either.

It illustrates a degeneration in society as a whole - that even when something is voted upon, and a conclusion arrived at those who lost - claim foul play.

we saw this in the Brexit vote in the UK. and you are obviously seeing the same in your political arena.

Like you say - the day of the gracious loser is over - its all cat fights and dirty tricks. What i find even more repugnant about the political arena these days is that come election time, the politicians dont argue policy - they simply take cheap shots at each other, trying to drag their opponent down rather then actually putting forward a coherent policy.

As Billy Connoly said - the mere desire to become a politician should ban you for life from ever becoming one.
