It is true that Katie Hobbs is the SoS, thus her office was in charge of counting votes. But there is no evidence whatsoever that she ever abused that power in any way (not like in Georgia in 2018, for example).
It is also true that there were problems with voting machines in some parts of Phoenix (I don't know offhand if they were red or blue), but everyone was able to cast a vote and there's no evidence at all that those votes were not counted.
Did every poll show Lake winning, many in double digits? No and no. Most polls gave her a very small lead, but not all did, and no poll showed her ahead by more than four points, never mind double digits. Polls nationwide underestimated turnout among left-of-center voters who were disgusted with the loss of Roe and concerned about extremism on the right. That's what we saw here, nothing more and nothing less.

And the entire crux of Lake’s argument was the issue with the printing on those ballots that couldn’t be scanned on Election Day at the voting precinct. They were brought into the county election headquarters, run by a Republican, who saw that those votes were counted correctly. And her remedy is to not even have a re-election, just make her Governor??

The optics are absolutely nothing. People do their job. The voting districts are charged with execution of elections, the SOS office merely collects all of their reports.

One district tried to play games with certifying results (where there were no issues, just as a matter to delay statewide) but they weren’t able to do that. If they did, those votes would have been tossed out and two democrats would have won instead in AZ.

Playing these games with election results is careless and dangerous. But, you MAGA folks only care that you win- regardless the cost.

But in the case, the issue didn’t hinder the election, just the day of tabulation of the results. If that is an argument MAGA folks are going to try to cling to instead of trying to get the vote correct… well then looks like MAGA gets to lose another one.

The proposed remedy of making her governor vs a new election is the laughable one… but she’s following the DJT playbook.

When does Arizona certify their results? When do they make it official the governor elect? I see a political rally in her future to stop the steal. If only she is so transparent and follows all of the steps. But this time the sitting AZ governor won’t sit on his hands, he supports the process even though his party didn’t win. How many courts even heard the issues? Answer: close to zero. They didn't want to get involved because of what party is in charge. Can you say cancel?

The courts asked to see the evidence but none had been brought by the plaintiffs, who said they were waiting for the appeal stage to show what they had. This being the stupidest legal argument ever. It was the MAGA attorneys who came unprepared, not the court not wanting to get involved.
