That’s most unfortunate. Bees are the gardener’s best friend and they’re dying off because too many people are using toxins. If bees die out, we’re next on the list. But I understand how you feel. I used to be afraid of bees until I started gardening. I learned from gardening that bees have their place and I have mine. As long as we stick to our own turf everything is fine. Also bees — especially bumble bees — aren’t aggressive. I can work in the garden with them flying all around me and not get stung. Now wasps, that’s a completely different story. They are very aggressive buggers — the Vladimir Putins of the insect world.I was just reading something about how gardening helps depression. I guess there’s something in soil that increases serotonin. I should really start a garden but I’m afraid of beeslike proper phobia
