True... the network thought the first episode was too dark, if I remember right. They also changed the day & time it was on a couple of times.

Hrm... sometimes that happens for pilot episodes, since some don't really consider it episode 1

Correct. The show was originally aired with all the episodes out of order. It was confusing. The network did them dirty.

That confusion over times would have definitely lost any show viewers! People often give up when they miss episodes
