So, do you think that "you are what you write"? I wasn't the first one on the thread to note that this claim was a crock. X, as usual, was the one subsequently introducing his inner juvenile. He didn't really respond to LC's question of whether he was a bar girl or sex tourist, which is what he has mostly written to Literotica. (I'd grant him both myself, since he claims to live in the Philippines and the photo he provides isn't of a Filipino.)

The statement was just stupid. I don't think X consulted his own file here before dropping that chestnut.

I was a sex tourist and I'm married to a bargirl. As for the teaching assistant, let's call her 'Bethany', she was a lot of fun to work with. These things alone don't tell you that I'm a really nice guy. If you want to know my personality, read my stuff. Like you, I am what I write.

I disagree with most of that. Respectfully. There's no such thing as a closet racist. Everyone has stereotypical beleifs, perceptions, preconcieved notions and even prejudice in their souls about everything....not just race. Prejudices both positively and negatively about all peoples. Tall girls play volleyball, Black guys are hung, Asians are good at math, Blondes are dumb, etc. Those ideas alone don't make one a racist. Neither does simply using the N word. It may make you foolish but not neccesarily racist.

Its when the idea of superiority combined with the prejudiced bigotry that creates racist beliefs and soon after racist actions. But as for closet racists because they rely on negative tropes....eh IDk about that. I think it may be more apt just to call them bad writers and sheltered and uncultured is all.

I respectfully disagree with you, but I believe our disagreement may simply result from want of focus. They are readers seeking out this product of writers who may be bad and uncultured, or who write very well.

A person who writes a murder in a story is not a murderer or condones murder. A person who writes about a rape in a story is not a rapist nor condones rape. A person who writes about racist situations or uses racist language in a story is not a racist. If people were what they wrote then 60+ seasons from the various Law and Order series' has some major problems.

I don't know if you're a Star Trek fan, but this kind of reminds me of those episodes in the original series where Kirk outsmarts computers by confronting them with simple logical conundrums until smoke comes out of them or their voices get really high and they shut down or explode. It was a neat trick, and he used it in several episodes.
