I imagine I'm pretty jaded (I'm 60 and have been sexually active for 42 years, so I usually think there isn't much I haven't tried), but I did stumble across a fairly good one recently that I'd never heard of or considered and that is...light games.

Long story short, I've recently moved to the "Smart LED" lights that I can control from my phone. They're pretty cool and, just out of curiosity my lover and I started playing with different shades/hues of light while making love. We were playing in blue light one night and the way it changed the visual of everything, both our bodies and our surrounding, had an unexpected impact on sex.

Since I'm a pro-am photographer (mostly amateur, but I have sold some work as art and as commercial, not enough to make a living, but enough to cement my pro-am status), I happen to have all kinds of lights so we've been happily moving through shades, shadows, hues and tones.

I'd reckon the impact is similar to music. Years ago I had a lover who was a true audiophile and introduced me to the impact music can have on sex.

Well, this is an uncomfortable question. Certain things are just not appropriate for public consumption, one of those things is my Google search history. Even my oversharing self won't share that. I am constantly curious about things, kinks and otherwise. I will ask questions if not wildly inappropriate, I will read up on it, I will watch demonstrations of it. Frequently, just more information is enough to satisfy my curiosity. Sometimes it is not, and I will add it to the to try list. I have been doing that my whole life so it is getting harder to find things that I haven't once checked off before. Oh, there is a recent add that I will share. Last week when I went to Publix, I noticed they moved fresh ginger root above fresh corn. First, I am curious as to why the change, Fall thing?, then I giggle at the connection because well I have a dirty mind, then I wonder if figging really is as wildly uncomfortable as I assume it is, so now I have fresh ginger root and a plan to confirm if my assumption is correct or not. That is how I handle curiosity, for better or worse, and why I don't have many answers to this question at the moment. Show me something that I have never seen, that I have never tried, and I have some level of curiosity.

I’m actually a mirror image to this. I’m usually so interested in trying new things and getting those experiences that I have been often surprised by having things I was certain that I would be into turn out to be things I have no interest in doing.
