Are there any up-to-date statistics on death rates due to other causes?
Have heart attack, stroke, cancer, or even accidental death rates dropped?
I understand the possibility of running a numbers game with it, falsely attributing deaths, but without more information there’s no way to come to any sort of reliable conclusion.
I mean, if 50 people died of it in Cook County, IL last weekend but nobody died of a gunshot wound, that would make me suspicious!

Some polling org. did a poll and found out that a great many Americans believe that 9% of the population has died from the Wuhan Flu. This is a direct result of how the media is reporting the outbreak.

Part of me thinks that poll is bull. As little faith as I have in the majority of the public's intelligence and capability for rational thought I find it hard to believe they are this stupid. On the other hand, it would explain why they are falling for the hysteria and supporting the absurdly excessive response to this statistically petty illness.
Interestingly the same poll showed that majorities in many other countries also believe this illness to be massively worse than even official numbers claim. In the UK, people believe 7% of the people have died and in France people think 5% have died. Media brain virus is a pandemic around the world.
