Do I have to choose just one? Rocky Road. Or Butter Pecan. Or Mint Chocolate Chip. Or... anything that's dripped down your tummy and thighs.

<lick>
I approve. And make sure to get every drip.

Vanilla. Hands down. The cheap shit. No fancy French vanilla bean. Why? Because it is the topping that makes the ice cream...and oh so many possibilities there are...and who can top adding Hershey's chocolate syrup to it and mushing it into a super thick "shake"?

Now, if it "must" be a flavored kind...sea salt caramel with pecans...on a waffle cone
That Bluebell Homemade Vanilla! Nom!

Cookies and Cream :)
Classic!

Chocolate is like vanilla. It has to be really quality.

I agree, to get the best possible taste experience with chocolate or vanilla ice cream they have to be a premium brand using all-natural ingredients. Or, go to a top-notch ice cream shop that makes their own ice cream. But if you can make it yourself at home using the best ingredients then your really in for a treat.

Please add homemade ice cream to the list of things you'll make when we meet. K thanks!

You got it!!! I used to love making ice cream, it's so worth it. :rose::kiss:

Never had a bad chocolate ice cream. Never had a bad ice cream in general, but I'm not into dessert much. So the flavor I prefer the few times I eat Ice Cream is chocolate.

Well, IDK, maybe the ice creams a lot better in Italy or Europe. But there're some truly inferior, generic brands available here in the States. So yes, I've had vanilla and chocolate ice cream that I've thrown away because it was so bad. :(

Don't know about Europe in general but in Italy they sure are. At least wherever I tried them. I had a great ice cream alla Calvados in Normandy and that was delicious too.

If you're in mid-Michigan, near Lansing (The capital) Hit Quality Dairy. Best ice cream you'll ever eat Mmmmm, fuck. I miss Michigan for QD alone. Damn, best donuts as well. :D

It'a getting warm here! What's your favorite flavor ice cream?

I usually just grab a couple pints of whatever fun flavors strike my fancy at the moment. I'm a sucker for limited edition flavors. In the freezer at the moment I have a limited edition Mardi Gras flavor that caught my eye and is DELICIOUS, a white-chocolate chip and rum bread pudding concoction. Tillamook brand is definitely a fave, but I've only ever seen it for sale at Kroger and I don't live near one anymore. Their Marionberry Cobbler flavor in particular is amazing.

I do have a specific go-to for when I'm making sundaes, shakes, or floats at home though. Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla. That stuff is the shit and nothing else will do in my opinion.

When it's that time of the month and I need my chocolate fix it's gotta be Ben & Jerry's Phish Food.

Chocolate chip cookie dough, if I'm eating just ice cream. But if there are toppings involved, chocolate or vanilla.

Its hard to go past good creamy vanilla or chocolate but choc chip i love and salted caramel mmmmm. But to be honest nothing comes close to italian gelato , omg.....

My taste in ice-cream could be classed as such, I suppose, because I don’t like ice-cream.

i absolutely love ice cream. it’s ridiculous. if there’s ice cream in the house, i can’t sleep because i gave to go eat it.

i know, i have a problem.

My ex was basically like that with chocolate. I don’t really have a relationship like that with food, thankfully. Sex, though.... bad men..... hmm now that’s a whole other story. LOL

hey, at my least it’s a more exciting story than ice cream.
