It is similar but you can listen to an entire album from an artist or different playlist from Spotify generates or DJs create. Hell you can even make your own playlists. Also Amazon Music is pretty similar and aint bad either.

I'll second everyone and say Spotify. There are also podcasts dedicated to discussing music of all genres and styles. I do think people get in a genre rut and dont even let themselves experience new kinds of music.

I'm down with new music, I'm just not inclined to invest a lot of time and energy seeking it out. At all.

Oh and Bandcamp is fucking great too. I buy most of my new music from there. Great because you get to download music instantly and you can receive the Vinyl too. Great for new artist because they can upload and sell music direct. I think that is how both Car Seat Headrest and Amyl and the Sniffers got started.

Guns n Roses, Appetite for Destruction. Tween me stole the cassette from my mother and played it often in my walkman.

Nine Inch Nails, Pretty Hate Machine. My first cd. My aunt bought it off my wish list for Christmas.

Lords of Acid, Voodoo You and Rage against the Machine were both cds I wanted and were gifts from 90s boyfriends.

Hearing them all triggers a very nostalgic feeling and I can see, hear, feel, smell, and taste fond memories of when they were playing. Though Rage I sometimes have to change if driving. There was the party host who always had it playing and always had strobe lights going, so sometimes when driving, I see the strobing when I hear their music.

Interesting choice with Oasis. I like that one too. Most people would’ve picked Morning Glory or Definitely Maybe. I do like what Noel had to say a out it.

I’m not a guy, but I don’t like watching it because in order to get a ‘good view’, it’s usually contorted and exaggerated positions make it look very unsexy to me.
