Next up, well I am just going to group these all together….Best fake, worst fake, and worst photoshopped picture. We have seen more than our fair share of catfishing here. I will be honest, when I first joined lit, the concept of catfishing on a free site seemed insane. In my mind, a catfisher was just a simple grifter using a basic romance scam in the digital times. Whether getting gifts or money from the mark, the motives were just profit. Obviously, I couldn’t be more wrong.

It didn’t take long for me to notice something unexpected. Within two weeks of joining Lit, it became obvious there was a level of doubt. Just little things at first, like a side comment of “ok, I’ll play”, and “if that is you” in relation to images I posted. I am all, “oh what are we playing” and confused like why wouldn’t it be me, I don't have a wife. Then, of course, I started making friends. See, the second person I starting talking to, well as soon as I gave him my Kik, was asking for a live chat, and I am all like woah, slow down man, that is overly presumptuous and creepy, I am in the middle of Walmart buying wine, what the hell. He quickly explained he wasn’t looking for show, just before he started seriously talking to me, he wanted to make sure I wasn’t a man.

This was fucking hysterical to me, yes I had to join a video cat in Walmart with a cart full of wine just to giggle at the fact he thought I was a dude because that is just so absurd. Yes, I was so naïve. The fact that people would catfish in the absence of profit or maybe revenge seemed so foreign. And now, I reverse search a picture of someone’s lunch if I don’t know them.

That brings me to our worst photoshopped picture, Cuppers. Ah Cuppers was actually the first catfisher that I noticed, as someone suggested I was them, so I looked. I basically found pictures Hannah Hilton, Lindsey Pelas, and a ton of other random ones.
Along with other women's gifs, Cuppers has entertained us with photoshoping like this and this and this and this but I think this one is the winner
