Republicans are quite simply un-American

Not if s/he was a tenured professor, and certainly not if the journalist was willing to work for Fox News or the Washington Times or the like.

But let's say you're right about professors. To me, then, the question would be, Is this person's career in trouble because s/he agreed with a racist book, or because s/he endorsed an argument known to be based on shoddy research and methodology? If it's the latter, then I don't see why a professor shouldn't run into some trouble - we've got a right to expect higher standards from the experts.

And if it's the former? Well, Eric Rasmussen still has a job.

The word "racist" should be eliminated from intelligent discussions of serious issues.

Charles Murray and Richard Herrnstein only proved what has always been obvious.

Unfortunately, Richard Herrnstein died. Charles Murray is a very great men. I hope he lives long enough to be fully vindicated.

Biology is a dogwhistle for fascist transphobic Nazi scum!!!

Sorry but no one thinks that. I'm pretty sure if you believe that (and let's face it because you do believe and you also hate trans people) you've gotten triggered.

The elites illuminati left know what's best and hover above everyone. If you disagree with any of their arguments you will be separated like wheat from the chaff and discarded into the vile bins such as:

1. RACIST
2. XENOPHOBE
3. FASCIST
4. CLIMATE DENIER
5. WHITE SUPREMACIST
6. WHITE PRIVILEGED
7. ANTI-INTERSECTIONALIST
8. CHRISTIAN
9. ANTI-WOMEN
10. ANTI-ABORTION
11. ANTI-PROGRESSIVE
12. PRO-AMERICAN
13. ANTI-SOCIALIST
14. PRO-CAPITALIST
15. ANTI-GLOBALIST
16. PRO CO2/ GREEN GAS EMISSIONS

Woke lefties believe that.

I'm a biologist, just because I don't deny science for the sake of their fee fees like the woke leftist do regularly, doesn't mean I hate trans people.

The Republicans have given up on the United States of America. Now they're the party that attacks America's intelligence agencies and embraces Russian propaganda instead.

During her testimony before Congress last month, former top White House Russia adviser Fiona Hill threw a shocking assertion at Republicans: “Some of you on this committee appear to believe that Russia and its security services did not conduct a campaign against our country and that perhaps Ukraine did,” she said. “This is a fictional narrative perpetrated and propagated by the Russian security services themselves.”

Actually, it wasn’t that shocking. We have become inured to it. What is more, her words fell on deaf ears.

Since then, one of the GOP’s top Putin water-carriers has been Louisiana Senator John Kennedy, who continues to advance disinformation that matches Russian talking points.

Most recently, his assertion that the former president of Ukraine “actively worked” for Hillary Clinton prompted Meet the Press host Chuck Todd to respond: “You realize the only other person selling this argument outside the United States is this man, Vladimir Putin!”

What makes Kennedy’s comments especially egregious is that, according to a recent New York Times report, “American intelligence officials informed senators and their aides in recent weeks that Russia had engaged in a yearslong campaign to essentially frame Ukraine as responsible for Moscow’s own hacking of the 2016 election, according to three American officials.”

In fairness to Kennedy, in using Putin’s talking points he’s also advancing Trump’s. Other Republicans, such as Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Rep. Devin Nunes have done the same.

Of course, when you factor in other parts of the story, such as Russia’s attempt to use the Republican-adjacent National Rifle Association (NRA) as a “foreign asset,” it becomes harder to dismiss so casually.

So have Democrats, now they're the party that openly attacks American civil rights, individual liberty, our states, our borders and our pursuit of happiness with leftist ideology and policy.

The FBI indicted 9 Russians and 3 Russians spy networks, no one denies Russians interfered in our elections. It's nothing more than a Schiff echo chamber.

It's a textbook case of the usual right-wing strategy of muddying the waters. It's not about convincing everyone their nonsense is true (how many people were really dumb enough to believe Al Gore said he invented the Internet?), it's about persuading enough swing voters that there at least might be something to it. And I hate to say it, but there's a decent chance it'll work. Again.

Repubicans in Congress are afraid of Trumps base and Trump that they can do nothing but follow and make excuse for him. Putting America and the Constitution first left the Repubican Party a long time ago. There only concern is the rich and installing republican judges.

That's because when the left get's up there and says "Taking from the haves to provide for the have nots isn't wealth redistribution!! It's just not being selfish!!" and "Forcing private companies to give their employees management rights and partial ownership isn't forced collectivization, it's worker protection!!" they know who's muddying the waters....and it's not the right. ;)

You mean the Constitution the left wants to totally shit can because it's outdated and regressive???:D

Today, we have a Republican president who, while reluctantly acceding to sanctions against Russia, incessantly praises its dictator, Vladimir Putin (“a terrific person”); tries to bring Putin back to the Group of Seven; conceals the details of their meetings; undermines Ukraine, a victim of Russian aggression, by harping on its corruption while ignoring Russia’s own kleptocracy; allows the Russians to take possession of U.S. bases in Syria; and propagates Russian propaganda blaming Ukraine for 2016 election interference. Trump is joined in spreading Russian disinformation by his secretary of state and other supporters, such as Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) and Sen. John Neely Kennedy (R-La.), even though the U.S. intelligence community has exposed claims of Ukrainian election interference as a “fictional narrative.”

Fox News host Tucker Carlson, one of the biggest stars on the president’s favorite television network and an informal adviser to the president, goes even further in expressing his admiration for Russia. Last week, he said: “Why do I care what is going on in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia?! And I’m serious. Why do I care? Why shouldn’t I root for Russia? Which I am.” Carlson claimed to be joking. But then this week, he said: “We should probably take the side of Russia if we have to choose between Russia and Ukraine. That’s my view.”

How did we get to the point where a “conservative” TV star openly sides with an anti-American dictatorship over a pro-American democracy?

We have already established that the left isn't saying that - you're just choosing to interpret what they are saying as such. Those are two different things.

No you've been saying that, muddying the waters.

Trying to deny that the left is...left...for whatever bizzare reason.

None of the other lefties are trying to pretend the left isn't left.

The reality is that left is openly all about forced collectivization and wealth redistribution, those are two primary and really only methods of forcing social/economic equity, the primary goal and identifying feature of leftism.

Not shockingly, openly self identifying leftist in the USA also support that goal and the two only methods of "progressing" towards it via government authority. That's why most of the DNC's is built on rich to poor wealth redistribution and in the case of "progressives" such as Warren and Sandaz also nationalizing segments of the economy and forcing private companies to give their employees ownership/administration rights in the company (forced collectivization). Textbook, encyclopedia and dictionary defined socialism.....the only way to go any further left would require a thorough "purging" the bourgeoisie.

"out dated and regressive" ~ BotanyBoy

That's about as unspecific as possible.

"out dated and regressive" ~ BotanyBoy

That's about as unspecific as possible.

It's also been pulled out of context.....so obviously it's unspecific.

Put it back into context and you'll see I was specifically talking about "progressives" and their attitude toward the Constitution.

In regard to that I can name a few points they have particular grievances with.

1)Article II, section I....the Electoral college, been bitching about that one since Bush.

2) Freedom of speech....they want to ban "hate speech" so bad they can't see straight.

3) Freedom of Religion....they want to force the religious folks do things in their jobs that offend if not outright violate peoples religious views so bad it makes them nuts. Gay wedding cakes etc.

4) Right to armament, Beto said it best.

5) private property. Death, luxury and wealth taxes (and I'm sure some others) are all designed to skirt 5A rights and grind down that right to keep the shit you already paid taxes on with money you paid taxes on....essentially eliminating private property by forcing you to rent it form the state.

We are all white supermacists, racists and sexists

As an unabashed Republican and a conservative I’m of course used to and even inured to the charges that Pres Trump and especially all his supporters are white supremacists and racists not to mention sexists and a plethora of other “ists”. So imagine my shock to learn that Democrats and liberals are likewise white supremacists, racist and shockingly sexists! This revelation occurred in the recent news that Sen Kamala Harris had quit her bid to become the Democrat standard bearer to oppose Pres Trump in the 2020 presidential elections. The reason for her failure aside from polling less than single digits? Why the MSM (main stream media) pundits had the ready answer to wit: America is not yet ready for a woman of color to become President of the United States. Bear in mind Ms Harris was competing in the Democrat party primaries wherein we Republicans have no say. Very telling was the polling for South Carolina where the majority of Dems supporters are black. Support for Ms Harris’s candidacy was virtually non existent, whereby Biden, a white former Veep had a substantial lead. Apparently even black voters are white supremacists, racists and even gasp! Sexists. Who knew?
