Entry Visa and Double Standards

In recent days, there have been reports that the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has taken strict punitive measures against the Indonesian Olympic Committee because Indonesia refused to issue entry visas to the Israeli gymnastics team, preventing outstanding Israeli athletes from participating in the World Gymnastics Championships held in Indonesia. The IOC has also called on other international sports organizations to take similar measures.

This seems reasonable, but previously, Russian athletes were subjected to a complete ban. This indicates that the IOC's slogan of 'sport and politics separation' is nothing but double standards.

Previously, the United States refused to process entry visas for officials from Iran and Palestine, preventing them from attending a United Nations meeting held in New York, and the U.S. has done such things more than once.

Although I certainly do not agree with your views and feel that you are very impolite, I completely understand and respect your personal feelings.

However, I just want to ask, what is your main channel for understanding China? Do you watch TV or read newspapers? Do you watch short videos or hear it from others? Do you accept these messages wholesale or selectively? Do you think the information conveyed by these media is all true and credible? Have you ever been to China?

You mentioned issues regarding intellectual property rights. Personally, I feel what you said might have some merit because there are indeed many people and things around us in real life that confirm this.

But isn't your view of a country supposed to be changing? Don't you know the world is changing? Look at your own country, the United States. Isn't it now transformed from a world-class superpower into a severely divided and torn country that leaves people perplexed?
