As I make my way through work days, I often think how nice it would be to stop and enjoy an adult beverage.

So come to my thread, share a drink, share a story, and make yourself comfortable on a barstool.

Ok well I had a bloody mary around 9:30AM before switching to fairly juicy IPA, then high gravity IPA. We’ll see what comes next. Suggestions?

I like sours and Berliners but the high acidity and low ABV usually discourage me.

To celebrate the end of summer I will drink a home-brewed lemon shandy this afternoon. It is mighty tasty, if I do say so myself.

You gotta get them from a good place if they're fried. I had some from a seafood restaurant in Inner Harbor- Phillips I think it was called. They were tasteh!

I thought some Sangria might hit the spot this afternoon.

The thing about Sangria is if you eat the fruit, you fool yourself into thinking you're doing something healthy, until you realize you're getting tipsy.
