We don't give a damn how they do it OUTSIDE.

I hope everybody's okay.

While we wait for communications to be fully restored, and facts to be reported, I'll share a few things I learned about Alaska from today's news coverage to lighten things up.

* Anchorage is the capital

* Anchorage is the most densely populated city in Alaska

* Alaska has so many earthquakes because the Pacific Ocean passes underneath it.

*While areas of Anchorage are tsunami zones, there is "increasing steepness right outside town"

*Today is "almost the anniversary of the '64 earthquake"

Thor, so sorry to read about this big quake! Sincerely hope you and yours are all ok.

Thanks, my fam and employee's are all good. Most employees have gone home to check out their houses and families. My EIT is home because his wife was called in to work emergency services at the hospital and the kids needed watching. I know that one guy has issues because he never put seismic straps on his water heater and it went down during the quake.

All interesting new "facts".

I hope you're ok. :heart:

I left a msg in the Iso thread but I dont know who reads what threads anymore.
