You never should have allowed that "Helle" email to be posted publicly. Can you imagine the smash a man would receive when doing the same? Not only had she taken me entirely out of context but she also altered the structure of the email itself. And you... supported it, with silence.

That hurt. Man, that burned.

Like... I succumbed, went entirely sideways. And that's all there in the printed history.

What ISN'T? Is that I love you deeply anyway. This place gave me a momentary avenue to shine. I am sad to report that all the other more LEGITIMATE places I'd been firing off at never result in success for me. I'm a misser. I swing for the fence... and I miss the ball entirely. That's how it plays. An extraordinary whiff, of sorts.

I do believe that I earned recognition for my work here.

Your system is sound. And it was work well worth doing.

I should addendum the idea that I never hit the ball.

I hit the ball. A lot.
I hit the ball A LOT of times cuz of the times i've missed, in fact.

I just... wanted to hit it far beyond the fence is all.
