You want me to give something, in the sake of "compromise". Based on your previous moments, I assume that means "all semi automatic firearms", which is several thousand dollars in material, and thousands of hours in training.

I'd estimate it all to be worth about a half-million dollars in time and money.

It is correct that artillery shell storage were called magazines. The clip thing tho, that's pure Hollywood. Never heard it used in military unless referring to a real clip and not a magazine.

A "magazine" is where munitions are stored. Usually, in accordance with Military regs and protocols, it's an underground bunker but buildings can be used if designed for munitions storage. Every fighting ship also has a "magazine" where munitions are stored on board in addition to the small arms locker because weapons and other items may not be stored inside with the munitions. Again, per regs and protocols.

A "magazine" is also any storage device which holds ammunition. As defined by most States which have magazine capacity limit laws AS WELL AS firearms manufacturers whose arms require or utilize removable magazines as well as manufacturers whose arms use fixed "box" magazines.

"Clips" are the designator for ammo holding devices which do not completely enclose the rounds being held together. Thus, the difference between a clip and a magazine is whether it completely encloses the cartridges or not.

"Belts" are continuously linked clips. Because, again, they do not completely enclose the cartridges.

This is basic knowledge that ANYONE who served in any capacity ahead of rear echelon is taught and trained to know. That you don't says volumes about you.
