I don't know that that is necessarily the issue though because we already do that. I got a lot more tax breaks over the years for having a wife and 5 kids then someone who is single with no kids. Although when I was first married it would have been advantageous tax-wise to simply live together.

Without a doubt, they have suppressed the prevalence of the black population, and that is just what we know of the mother's ethnicity.

If they openly admitted that the core of their services and the bulk of their clinician's time and expenditures were slpent performing abortions, Hyde would have to be repealed to fund them. That would not even make it out of commitee.

As a matter of public policy funding on demand abortions makes a lot of sense. you have to assume that women are keenly aware of their financial circumstances and their own temperament as to whether they have the financial and emotional support necessary to raise children. Plenty of people on just a glance are pretty poor prospects. Fathers that have been in and out of jail, families or single mothers living on public assistance, those with any physical or mental defects with genetic causation would all be money ahead to not only pay for it but to actively encourage it.

But that isn't the conversation that Planned Parenthood wants to have openly.

This being the America of rags to riches, a country that doesn't believe in castes,and passing the sins of the fathers on to the children, its reasonable for some to strongly object to the above rationale for government participation in abortion.

Then there are those that truly do see abortion as not only insidious evil for the termination of human life and all the potential that snuffs out, but the general commentary that says about valuing life which bleeds over into such discussions about euthanasia and the death penalty.

Some people are all over the map. Distraught over exploiting chickens for eggs, unaffected by terminating fertized human ovum. Horrified about a drug that prevents an implantation of a fertilized egg, but no problem with wars and the death penalty.

Usually at equally low cost or free (for those that qualify for medicaid) as in the case at PPH.

They cannot handle the overflow.

There aren't enough clinics. We need more clinics. Not less. There's already a shortage of health services in this country.

I used to work in publishing but left in 2011.

I am still an insane reader of books as well as online stuff. Sometimes I stay up all night following a rabbit hole. Last night I learned about AI videos on YouTube - this is fresh, happening right now - targeted to toddlers with weird adult themes such as violence, lying and a but of ass play. I love rabbit holes, and I've only recently started going to YouTube. Based on what it recommends for me I am often amused. It is definitely confused about my political persuasions. I avoided YouTube for a lot of reasons different places that I have lived in were a little spotty or for internet coverage on my phone which is what I've been using for the past two years. My latest little Casita has pretty good coverage because apparently my neighbors aren't using it.

When I had great high-speed hard line internet I still avoided videos because I would much rather read than have some news reader read it to me. I read much faster than they do. I've decided I'm going to have to give up on my fantasy unlimited reading material on the internet. It just doesn't exist. Content is all going to video these days. I don't know why but I take in information much better and faster in text form than audio.

yesterday I clicked on one of those obvious clickbait sites because the story they were pimping sounded interesting about some guy that wandered off into the Maine woods and live for a couple of decades quietly stealing only what he needed from cabins.

I just told you the entire story. In order to learn that story and whether there was actually anything more interesting in that story there were literally 55 individual clicks of really horribly written prose. plus a half a dozen or so extraneous clicks where I hit the wrong portion of the screen and ended up getting some add that they were trying to get me to click on.

Hence, the books I had Goodwill on half-price day and picked up a dozen books.

How many clinics could be funded for seven hundred million dollars a year? Especially in the lower an inner-city areas where Planned Parenthood sets of their "health" clinics.

I don't do their books. And frankly in all honesty, I don't really have too much concern for it. There are far bigger sources of waste going on - in medicare and in the government itself. Ones that actually aren't investments into society.

Frankly I'm not even sure about the $700 mil as the only things I found on it were from a bunch of anti-abortion propaganda sites. And like hell I'm going to entertain someone's circle jerk when the only reason they are in this debate is to try to piss me off.
