Absolutely. Any man who fathers a child and then abandons that responsibility forfeits the right to be called a man. The same standard applies to any woman who walks away from her child. The only exception, clearly and rightly, is in cases of rape, where the moral and legal context is entirely different. Responsibility and parenthood are inseparable for anyone who claims to act with integrity.

A proposed federal budget to spell big trouble for the abortion provider if it loses federal funding.​

The Supreme Court upheld South Carolina's decision to bar Planned Parenthood from accessing federal Medicaid funding for non-abortion-related services on Thursday.

The court voted 6-3 with Justices Ketanji Brown Jackson, Elena Kagan, and Sonia Sotomayor dissenting.
The decision allows other states to implement similar policies that would prevent reimbursements for services not related to abortions, such as screenings or acquiring contraceptives.

As NPR reported, federal law has prohibited using federal Medicaid for abortion services for decades, except in the cases of rape, incest, and life-threatening complications.

As reported by Detroit News, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster (R) had said that no taxpayer money should go to Planned Parenthood, with the new budget bill, coined the "big, beautiful bill" by President Donald Trump, looking to cut federal Medicaid funding to Planned Parenthood altogether.

If it were your daughter, would you want the government even knowing the answer to that in the first place, never mind making her decisions for her based on their answer (not hers, theirs)?
Also, the answer to your question is probably a lot fewer than you think. Accidents happen. Condoms break. It doesn't mean the people involved were being irresponsible. (And even if it did, it's still not the government's place to saddle them with a baby they don't even want.)

It's available everywhere where you live. In some rural areas, especially in red states, it can be a lot harder to find than you think. There have been documented cases of women being unable to get the Pill because the only pharmacist in town is a right-wing pseudo-Christian who refuses to fill the prescription.

But really, that's beside the point. Taxpayers already weren't paying for abortions, because that's been illegal for decades. What has happened here is that the Coathanger Five have given states the right to take away funding that would prevent abortions, by providing preventative solutions to people who are in fact trying to do the responsible thing. Planned Parenthood only spends 3% of its budget on abortion. Do you think they were spending the other 97% on somehow driving up the demand for abortions?

The pathetic thing is, you probably did.
