I do not have a lot of experience but my BF and I have had two MFM experiences this year. In our case, we joined a group of swingers who my BF was friends with most of them. It is a small group and really just a sub set of a motorcycle club. So when my BF asked a friend to join us, he already knew that the guy was into swinging so there was nothing awkward about it. Not sure about hooking up in the internet. That seems risky. Perhaps going to a swingers club and trying to get to know a few people.

Just go slow. It's only going to be enjoyable if you're all comfortable with it. Even at that, the first time can be awkward. Keep an open mind an just go with it, but communication is key.

We found that Craig's list offered all we could want...we lost count of the number ... anonymous and usually one and done when we were in the mood... it was all about the sex for us so we didn't need friendship and compatibility...was a bucket list item and we've since scratched it off but sure was hot for a season!
