The Roomba does good on the hardwoods. Less so on the carpet. It cannot get the corners. Cords can be a challenge. The coffee table has lured it in and trapped its dumb ass a few times.

I almost wish Id of looked at one of the more square models...not roombas but I bet they do a better job in corners.
 
Well you try having two teacup Yorkies especially in winter when it's like 100 below.

They have accidents, I have pee pads and sometimes they poo by the back door. lol

It's little stuff not like a big dog and doesn't smell.


Obviously that person let things get out of hand...lol

Yeah! Risengrød is some really delicious stick-to-your-ribs food. That's something you can find year-round. They used to have Pama brand grødris - flattened parboiled grains of rice. Those are/were very easy to boil up but I haven't seen it in a long time. I stay away from the stuff now. Have you ever made klatkager with leftover risgrøt? I'd like to try that some time.

I have not. Perhaps if there's enough left from Saturday's batch of Risgrøt, I'll give it a try.

Out of the context of this thread (where most people were obviously joking around, myself included):

Because those aren't gifts; those are part of the essential tools for the wife's unpaid work as a house keeper. The perfect gift would be a day at a luxury beauty spa, while the hubby does the cooking and cleans the house for her.

((or maybe americans are better at these things than the folks that I know, and I'm being unnecessarily judgmental))
