This made all the news as ‘attack by far-right’ on Muslim woman.
Not only were the attackers locals from Molenbeek with Muslim-sounding names, but they also took the ‘selfie’ pic before hitting the woman, not after, as media had previously erroneously reported.

The drivers of the car have been reported as Molenbeek residents Redouane D. and Mohamed B. Both are thought to have taken turns driving during Saturday’s incident, Redouane before the collision with the victim, and Mohamed after. Reports indicate that both drugs and alcohol may have been a factor, according to La Libre.
At one point during the riots, a white Audi, thought to be driven by right-wingers [Update: the drivers of the car have been confirmed as local residents driving under the influence], was driven toward a “police cordon,” causing several officers to draw their weapons and aim at the vehicle. The car then drove quickly away, where it hit a woman wearing a hijab. She can be seen first being lifted onto the hood of the car in available footage, and then falling to the ground, appearing to be driven over by the car’s front right tire, as the horrified shrieks of onlookers can be heard.
The woman was reported to have sustained “injuries” but to have remained conscious through the ordeal and to have been released from a hospital after receiving treatment on Saturday.

The PCnness of massmedia (the one owned by Eu and US establishment) might have started for genuine reasons, I'm sure of that (to protect the muslim population against the increase in islamophobia)
-- but it has degenerated to some bizarre proportions.
Like when they hid the Cologne attacks. And there are many other isolated incidents, according to other people.
And this article is the perfect example.
The progressive attitude dumbfounds me: all muslims - good, all conservatives aka Rwingers - bad. When in fact there are good people and bad/antisocial people on both sides.

But I typed the words that the thread started with, and I got quite a few hits:
- DailyMail, Huffington post, google news
- and - strange, come to think of it- several Australian and New Zealand online newspapers and TV programs, but not many mainstream media from US.
(but my two browsers are set up for Au and Nz).
