Ronda Rousey

She is legendary for her armbars. She chose to win this fight without using it. That takes some skill.

I don't know what that is. I know what hitting someone in the nose is and I hardly saw that in this fight. I saw more missed punches and flailing arms in 2 minutes than I ever saw.

She simply must be trolling. She argues for a fix, but fails to recognize that fixes don't usually involve total amateurs, as the fans tend to see through it.

A billion dollar industry looks after it's own interests. Every generation throws a hero up the pop charts.

And there are pawns in every game.

Holy crap, one person doesn't know what an armbar is, the other doesn't think mma has ever put up an amateur.

You'd think you'd actually research something a little before you talk about it.

No technique. It was like two drunk chicks fighting over me at a bar.

lol

And how many times have you KOed someone, champ? You talk about technique in mma, and don't know what an armbar is? Are you serious? Armbars are the first move most people talk about in relation to mma...

I know what a Klondike Bar is. What would you do for one?

I know Serena would kick your doughy white girl's ass.

I would let her, that wouldn't make you correct. Unrelated fight federations who have no vested reason to agree all know that amateurs don't win against pros, and don't fill stadiums for more than one fight.

Going through radiation, chemo & 3 bone marrow biopsies were less painful than this thread.

Hey, cuck:

What's the biggest dick you've sucked...

...after it dumped a creampie up your wife's butt?

Words you would never say in person to me. Remember that. The real world breaks men like you, and you know it. People who talk big on the internet hide in the real world, and everyone knows this. Enjoy your cowardice, you weak little man, there is no lover you could ever have that I could not seduce away from you.

:D....

LOL! I don't know about those, but I do feel like I've passed a kidney stone...

I have passed a kidney stone and I'm sure you couldn't handle it.

In fact, I've passed an entire kidney, right through a hole they cut in my side.

But you're a ninja warrior immune from pain...

I'm a lover and prefer arm chairs.

What's better? Pain or dead?

The emotional aspect is worse, physical pain is tolerable.
Actually reading through some threads on the GB forum is more painful at times since it seems it's just insult after insult from people who obviously hate life & are just miserable. Something I just don't get.
All I know is looking up to Ronda Rousey helped me through a rough time in my life & I barely bitched about anything, frustrated yes, but I guess I'm just a positive person.

I haven't passed a kidney stone. A regular sparring partner of mine, back in the day, passed nine. I don't envy him or you. He would disagree with you, knowing me well.

I'm no ninja warrior, I do not claim to be immune to pain. However, I know from experience that in fighting, pain is not the issue. Adrenaline tends to make pain compliance a non-issue.

Your claim is that it is the fight organizations that prevent amateurs from beating pros. But the mma has fielded what are essentially amateurs, and other full contact federations, from boxing to mma to muay thai to kickboxing to sanshou, have all come to the same conclusion.

If there were a market for amateurs fighting pros, one of those groups would have tapped it. Many of them have difficulty fielding enough fighters, so an additional source would be a financial boon to them. The reality is, the amateurs simply cannot perform.

It's surprising how we underestimate the emotional pressures associated with an illness. I was offered all kinds of therapy to help me cope and politely declined...because I received a message from God. He said:

"In the end you need to be your own hero because everyone else is busy trying to save themselves."

Be careful who you choose to be your heroes.

Saying that you wouldn't talk big in reality is not myself talking big. In fight circles, internet trash talkers have a dismal record. People don't ever talk to me that way, including some who spoke that way online, and I'm merely a competent fighter, not a great one.

No brain: no pain.

No brain: no pain.

No time, no pain, in this case. Fights put a higher pressure on. This often leads to injury in submission fighting, as one thinks they can slip out when the hold is actually already secured.

Of course, understanding this assumes one is well educated on fighting methods through training, research, and reading. Which requires brains.

High level fighters are often very smart in how they approach their training.
