Can I make corrections to my story?

I uploaded a story (Fucking Gillian Anderson) yesterday, but somehow missed a few typos, grrrr. I cannot for the life of me find a Help section, an answer to my question in the FAQ section. Is there an Edit Option somewhere on my main page/dashboard? Arrrhhhhh! Grrrrr! HELP!!!

The way to do it is to resubmit the corrected story with the title followed by "EDITED".

Put a note in the Notes Box that this is an EDITED version.

An edited story takes longer than a new submission to appear, but will retain any comments, votes and views recorded for the original.

If the comments are no longer appropriate e.g. "You changed the heroine's name on page 2", you can delete them on your member's page.

I've re-edited my story and want to replace the posted version with my new edited one. How do I do this?

No problem! Simply submit the new version as you submitted the old one, only adding the word "EDITED" to the title (ex. "My Sexy Firefighter Ch. 03 - EDITED") so that we know to replace the old text with the new text. We will then replace the original text with the new text. Your story will retain its previous voting score and views.

Edited stories take up to 48 hours to appear correctly on the site as the pages must be regenerated by the site scripts. If after 48 hours your submission edits are still not showing, please email us a link to the work in question.

Bolded "email" is wrong. That doesn't work. Send a PM to Laurel.

If you just submitted it yesterday and it hasn't posted yet, just click on the "pending" button next to its listing, which will bring it up again, make your changes, and then submit it again. It will restart the delay in posting, but it will have the corrections in it.

I've done this before. Submitting the correct copy was worth the delay in posting.
