This morning, while drinking my "elixir of life" I was wondering what other Texans drink as their morning beverage of choice.

I must have 2-3 cups of coffee each morning to get me started. For a long time I preferred a dark roast such as a Sumatra. More recently my tastes have changed to a medium roast, "Donut Shop" style of coffee.

What is your morning beverage of choice?

A two espresso shot mocha made by Nespresso machine, using plain old Hershey's chocolate.

Caffeine this morning courtesy of Starbucks.. sweet icy chai latte!
 
Happy "Today is my Friday for this week, so I wore jeans (which apparently is not OK, but I don't care)" Day!!! The weekend is close at hand and I am ready for it!
 
I will be having a glass of wine shortly. :D

My last for a bit as I'm starting a health food binge tomorrow....

Can't go wrong with a good margarita. I make mine by hand with fresh squeezed limes and top shelf tequila and orange liquor.

We did barbeque last night. So glad that Southside Meat Market opened a location in Bastrop. :D

Yum, that's how I make them too. I used to date the King of the Nerds - he did major research on everything he did, so his maragarita recipe, which I now use, was the result of hours of research and many, many sample margaritas. Maybe we need to have a mix-off!

Absolutely! I am always ready to sample more margaritas, just in case I discover a better recipe. ;)

Good luck, bubba. You've a better shot at hooking up with a honey from Las Cruzes or Albuquerque. Mostly because there's a shit-tonne of sweet fuck all between El Paso and the rest of Texas.
