The Cake Shop’s coffee is made by trained baristas using Monmouth Espresso Blend. The current recipe uses Fazenda Santa Ines (Brazil) as the base, adding Finca Buena Vista (Colombia) for high notes and complexity, and Finca Las Nubes (Guatemala) for a cocoa depth.

Sounds complicated.

Call yourself East Anglian! But, you know, I'd babysit for you. You could tell me all about it later while I ran around after your kids in desperation.

Or, as Ogg suggested to me, there is no reason it has to be based in London. I just love the LRB cakeshop. But I could learn to love somewhere else.
 
I know that Fata and I at least go to Hay on Wye anyway sometimes. I would absolutely be up for Hay.
