This seems to be a building trend in many major media outlets. Find a juicy story and put it in print before investigating the allegations. Advocacy posing as journalism. And the print media wonders why it's losing credibility.
The broadcast media isn't doing a hell of a lot better. What they decide to report and what they decide "isn't news" is putting more an more Americans off. And they just don't understand why FOX is kicking everyone's ass.
Of course my mentioning FOX is certain to bring a whole crew of morons out that can't discern between news and commentary. FOX covers the news and does it well. Their presentations are pretty much unbiased and they cover events that the 'alphabets' and CNN ignore. Their nightly lineup is the same as the rest of the cable folks, biased commentators.
