TX AG Paxton Launches Massive Election Fraud Raids.

“I am launching an investigation into reports that organizations in Texas are illegally registering noncitizens to vote,” the Texas AG said in a post on X (formerly Twitter) after announcing the raids. “Texans are deeply troubled by the possibility that organizations purporting to assist with voter registration are illegally registering noncitizens to vote in our elections,” he added.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) ordered the execution of a series of search warrants across three counties in the state as part of a two-year investigation into allegations of voter fraud and ballot harvesting. According to Paxton’s office, the raids stem from several undercover operations aimed at an organization believed to be registering noncitizens to vote.

“My office is investigating every credible report we receive regarding potential criminal activity that could compromise the integrity of our elections,” Paxton continued. “The Biden-Harris Administration has intentionally flooded our country with illegal aliens, and without proper safeguards, foreign nationals can illegally influence elections at the local, state, and national level.”

The investigation found that several nonprofit groups had set up booths outside Texas Department of Public Safety Driver License offices, ostensibly offering to register voters. However, Paxton‘s office notes that Texas already offers voter registration when citizens file applications to obtain or renew a driver’s license.

Ohio Secretary of State Refers 597 Noncitizens for Prosecution After Registering or Voting Illegally

by Jim Hᴏft Aug. 23, 2024 8:00 am

Republican Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced the referral of 597 noncitizens for possible prosecution after they were found to have either registered to vote or cast a ballot illegally.

This significant number, which surpasses previous years, underscores the ongoing efforts by Ohio’s Republican leadership to combat voter fraud and protect the sanctity of the ballot box.

Of these cases, 138 noncitizens were found to have illegally cast ballots, while another 459 registered to vote but did not participate in the election, according to AP.

These individuals were identified through a rigorous review process and have been referred to Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost for further action. The numbers are telling: compared to 148 noncitizen cases referred in 2022, 117 in 2021, and 354 in 2019, it is clear that the state’s efforts to crack down on illegal voting are gaining momentum.

They were all probably told they could vote by the NGOs that brought them across the border.

It's not a significant number. But odd how he is cracking down in 2024 rather than in the years that the voting occurred.

Almost as if this is a politically motivated prosecution

Wasn't Paxton in the national news recently as a subject of criminal investigation himself?

He got impeached for adultery.
He was not convicted because the good old boys in the lege (plus Paxton's wife, who is a state rep) vote to acquit because men in high power in Texas have historically had non-consensual sex with their interns without consequence.

It's a job perk, dontcha know.

These people ^^^ are allowed to vote.

You could have said, "Ohio continues prosecuting voter fraud cases leading up to this year's election. Out of 7,988,132 registered electors, Secretary of State Fran LaRose has found 597 offenders. Ohio is doing its due diligence."

The numbers are not 'telling' at all. If anything, they tell us that Ohio has a good voting registration system. The number of cases represents 0.0074% of the registered voters. [A really tiny number!]

Texas Attorney General Paxton was impeached by the (Republican) Texas House for charges that included taking bribes.

He also almost went to trial for fraud, but settled out of court.

The announcement by special prosecutors in a Houston courtroom came less than three weeks before Paxton was set to stand trial on felony charges that could have led to a prison sentence. It was the closest Paxton — who was indicted in 2015 — has ever come to trial over accusations that he duped investors in a tech startup near Dallas.

Under the 18-month pre-trial agreement, the special prosecutors would drop three felony counts against Paxton, while he must pay full restitution to victims, and complete 100 hours of community service and 15 hours of legal ethics education.

The “15 hours of legal ethics education” is hilarious considering he’s the state attorney general.

Catching those who unlawfully register illegal migrants to vote in US elections isn't "desperation."

Being afraid enough that your political party has to register those illegal migrants in order to win elections, is.

*if* there is voter fraud, you still don't know how they voted so this constant whining about this shit is fucking weak.

They are investigating suspects. They have no caught anyone at the moment. Strangely, it's taken them 5 years to proceed.

Yes, very strange. It's almost like how Hunter Biden escaped being prosecuted for almost a decade...

The felon is just preparing the ground. Once his cultists are ready to believe that everyone is stealing the election except for the actual election stealer-in-chief, he can rile them up again to another insurrection.

Two impeachments
Two insurrections
One term.

Paxson has his knickers in a twist because some "get out the vote" organizations are literally pitching tents outside of Texas Drivers License Offices offering to register people to vote. This is odd to begin with because the federal Motor Votor Act of 1993 allows people to register to vote by checking a box on the driver's license application form for the past 31 years.

In more unsettling Paxson news, Ken Paxson issued a rule change to Driver's license bureaus the other day: For the past four years, transgendered people can get the gender on their driver's license changed if they show that they've filled out the legal paperwork in court.

Effective 8/21, Paxson ordered Drivers license bureaus to "cease and desist" from doing this, to instead make a copy of the transgendered person's court paperwork and fax it to his Austin office, where a "Tranny Tracker" database is being developed.

Fraud is fraud whether it's one case or thousands, ya don't know what ya don't know. It takes vigilance to deter criminal activity.

Almost a decade? Why didn't trump fix that, Derpy?

Because he's an ineffectual simp like you.
