Any bias in the American media is right-wing, not left-wing

I didn't even read the thread. All media is biased. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

Seriously. How is this even under consideration? EVERYONE HAS BIAS. The basic problem is that, as a country that is attractive to a wide, diverse group of people, we have a population with a wide, diverse group of opinions. And they can't agree on what's best for the American people. Wow. Who knew?

Not equally. And that matters.
So your defense is that some opinions matter more than others. I can't argue with that. Because it's true. Which factors determine who's opinion matters more? I favor majority rules. If someone in a state you don't live in, with different laws that don't affect you, bitches about something they care about, is it more important than whether or not the electric bill gets paid? This is an All About Me issue. When people care about something enough, they do something about it.

Some bias is more important than other bias.

No, it is that both sides are not equally dishonest or disinformative. Regular viewers of Fox News, for instance, know less about public affairs than people who watch no news at all -- studies have shown that.

So, bias matters?

I am about Free Will. I can agree to disagree. We live in a society where the people in charge decide what happens. I may or may not agree with their decisions An often overlooked fact is that there is only one person that I mostly have control of and it's myself..
