They want to live in society they don't get 100% control over their income. IT's really that simple. And force them to work? Doing what precisely. We've been over this ad nasuem. There isn't enough work in the world, hasn't been for more than a century.



Those people are such a small minority we might as well call them Supermen and be done with it. Then you have 99% of the human race.

Just my opinion but I think to qualify for any govt. benefits there should be regular drug checks and public service work done.

How about we force the people who want to take the money to work and make their own?

Faced with a tax rate of up to 95% most rich people would want to go to investments with a lower tax rate. They are free to do that . Just as I am free to accept what the rich want to give me for my labor or I can learn to do without.

When people talk about the good old days, most folks think about the mid sixties, a time when america was running at her best. And we enjoyed the benefits of a high tax rate on the rich. We led the world in almost every way you could measure.

The biggest single thing that changed from then til now is the cutting of the import and export taxes and the different tax rates.

You can do it but it's a waste of time and money. What are you going to do? Deny them the money? Cus unless you are going to put a bullet in them right then you might as well save everybody the money and misery and pay them if you dont' here's what happens.

0. You pay for a drug tester.
1. Druggy gets desperate and robs someone, maybe hurts them.
2. Druggy goes to jail.
3. You pay for their food, water, shelter, medical and pay guards to watch them in jail.
4. Even if they clean up now they've got a record and its' that much harder for them to get a job.

Or you can just skip to the part where you pay them food, water and shelter. Hell the people so strung out they can't stay clean long enough to pass a test you're probably doing a favor by locking em up but seriously this is a stupid plan if you're goal is to save money and not punish bodies. If you want to punish bodies by all means but admit your goal is sadism not frugality.

Not many places still put people in jail for killing people who are committing a crime against them. There are still a few backward places but they are changing slowly.
