So citizens who don't attend prestigious colleges and who have a minor criminal history merit being shot to death rather than arrest.
Got it.

No. Unless they advance on a cop who is trying to put them under arrest. Then yes.
But if the go to something more prestigious than a trade school, it's a no?
But if the go to something more prestigious than a trade school, it's a no?
Purposely missing the point?
The introduction of the "off to college on Monday" part of the story line was a purposeful attempt by the National Press to fan the flames of outrage and to highlight the idiotic white privilege argument that no black person from Fergeson to Cambridge is safe from the racism of America's police state. Now, you are apparently appalled that we would impeach that part of the story line just as it was "blaming the victim" and "character-assassinating" to pay any attention what-so-ever of the convenience store surveillance tape.
The story has to be protected.
Seems to me the only question is whether the cop had reason to believe based on what he knew that the decedent posed a risk to the cop or the public.
And it was the Police Department that started the character assassination by releasing the video despite knowing the cop was unawares.
That started a narrative that so many, like you, gleefully ran with: a dead thug is a good thug.
Under the justice of deputy dawg AJ Marone, no black person is ever innocent.
You are lying and assuming things that are not true.
The entire focus of my comments on this story has not been who, what, when, where and why but on the predictable behavior of the press covering the story in advancing the pre-canned story-line template that they apply to all of these cases. I dare you to actually demonstrate otherwise. I actually researched the college claim and posted it way, way back, it was Vatterott, the DeVry of non-technical trades. I did it merely to make yet again, another point on how the press distorts the truth to advance the story: every day in America, cops just shoot black kids and ask questions later.
The cops are always the enemy to the Left, right up until the mugger sticks a Saturday Night Special into their face.
That's your bias showing.
We all have them. And we all use them when we try to make sense of things.
Regardless, the PD appears to have deliberately tried to engage the biases of people like you by releasing the video despite knowing it was irrelevant to the officer's decision.

It may not have been irrelevant to the cop's decision. It's been reported he knew of the strong arm robbery before the shooting.
[Darren Wilson, the Ferguson policeman who shot Michael Brown, was unaware the unarmed black teenager was a suspect in a robbery at a convenience store at the time, police chiefs have admitted.
Instead, he had simply approached Brown to ask him to stop walking in the road.

Toaub's bias is that they're incompetent.
My bias is that the press wanted to go on a rampage, and they did.
I believe they did it for pure partisan political gain to get their base energized for the elections.
I also believe the cop never stood a chance and that he is going to be tried and convicted of something, anything, no matter what to placate an important political voting block by showing them just how firmly the Democrat party believes in their grievance just as they tried to do with the New Black Panther Party, the Skip Gates affair and the Trayvon Martin incident.
I do not know if it was self-defense or execution and I could really give a flying fawk either way; my issue here is with new-age liberalism and Social Justice replacing blind justice.

They've changed their story AGAIN?
Those fuckers are incompetent.

Yes, they changed their story and now say he knew.
הילדים שלך צריכים למות בשריפה.LyingRacistPigDownSouth is obsessed with race and thinks everyone else is as well.
He is obsessed with race, or pretends to be. I don't know which is worse.
הילדים שלך צריכים למות בשריפה.
You are the one with a documented history of having your race-baiting political threads kicked from other boards to here, but *I* am the one obsessed with race?
Nope.
There's nothing race-baiting about this thread or any other I've ever started, or any comment I've ever made, you lying piece of shit.
There are a large number of people here besides myself who disagree with your assertion.
I'm guessing the Mayor of Baltimore begs CVS and others, to reopen their stores. My guess is large tax incentives to do so, so it will cost the city even more. It would serve them right if CVS chose NOT to open.http://www.breitbart.com/video/2015...inner-city-poverty-a-matter-of-natl-security/
"Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” PBS host Tavis Smiley said “uprisings and riots” are the “new normal” and “will happen a lot more” unless America addresses poverty in the inner city which he said is becoming a national security problem.
Smiley said, “What do we see in Baltimore and Ferguson and beyond, racism, poverty and militarism. So Poverty is clearly connected to this. My sense is that this is going to become the new normal. These kinds of uprisings and riots will happen a lot more if we can’t get serious about jobs, jobs, jobs with a living wage for all fellow citizens.”"
Notice no mention of rampant disrespect for authority everywhere in cities like Ferguson and Baltimore, as with Michael Brown and the student rioters in Baltimore. No mention of lack of family responsibility and the resulting sad state of affairs in inner cities across the nation. Strange.
