Not so different from the "relocation" of Germany and Poland. But the Russians didn't make the mistake of letting the people who had lived there for hundreds of years stay there. They expelled or killed them. They wanted sanitized ground.It IS different, if we look at how they got the land, and whether they may have a legit claim to it. I think Israel has a stronger foot to stand on, if not totally solid.
Spot on.But in the sense of "the world's" reaction, it's pretty much the same. Vocal criticism, and tentative diplomatic attempts at negotiation. Possibly sanctions from some directions. But otherwise fuck all.
