A letter from NASA responding to a letter I sent them when I was in 4th grade....where I told them that I thought it was impossible for the moon to have come from the Earth like some had said in my class...my teacher told me I should write them and see what they thought...so I did...and they agreed with me....

Well, perhaps. Certainly to one of my kids. Probably to my wife (I actually know someone who did that...funny that they were actually a match for kidneys as well as a long marriage!). Certain other friends and relatives. I think the fact that I've not donated a kidney yet suggests that I wouldn't just donate one to a stranger (since, clearly the need for kidneys is not generally met, and I've not been tested or anything).
