Hey, I'm new here

No I got my facts right. (so you can stick your "as usual" snark up your ass, sweetie).

You two are the ones who dragged your "spat" from another thread all over the forum just cuz you got your girdle twisted about what was said in another.

y'all are ALSO the ones who feel the need to gang up on somebody, rather than deal with it yourselves or, ideally, via PM.

In other words: Get over your big, bad self. Like I said, if you want just to fight start a new thread and I'll join you there. I'm in a bad mood and I'd enjoy kicking somebody's ass.

Safe_Bet, the newbie in question seems to be acting mouthy in several threads, and I'm not part of this "spat" coming from anywhere else.

I'm quite sure it would be preferable to address it via PM, but said newbie has admittedly turned off the PM function, so... what would you recommend they do?

Trust me, that newbie is very capable of defending herself. She has been elsewhere, so I see no reason for her not to continue to do it here. After all, she did come over from the Playground, which is a safer place to start than the GB.

Back to topic, welcome, Spike. I do hope you haven't been chased off. :)

Spike, this thread is way cool! It's got more entertainment than any other newbie's I've seen.

I left you a bottle of vintage champagne in Naked Party. You are a cub to be proud of and I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the MILF of your dreams scoops you off your feet. LOL.

(NB, Kenny Wright writes totally cool MILF stories although you have to pay for some of them - try him on Smashwords.)

If I could offer a little hint or two, young lady?

You really do not have to quote your vital statistics; it's not as if most of us are in a position to do anything about it, and you could look like the original Rhine Maiden for all we know. And text-speak is not encouraged at all (do not forget this site is populated by folk all over the world, so short-hand English may not be the best language to use.

It's a pretty obvious "you knew what to expect" tease to, on the one hand, flip out detailed measurements on the forum, and, on the other hand, complain about being hit on in the PM system.

Post 26. Unless I misunderstood it sounded like you were saying you have been posting free on amazon for 4 years which is what I was responding to.

No. I've never posted anything free on Amazon--nor has my publisher. We publish for money. I was reacting to suggestions that one can't post material here on Literotica and having the same material on Amazon in some form for money. That's what I've been doing for four years.

Hey Pilot, what kept you? We had to have the fighting without you. Lovecraft has been sitting on the sidelines fanning the flames for ages.

:rose:

Okay so I misread.

But if you are in select you cannot have your work anywhere free or for sale.

As for having it here for free and for sale there technically you are not supposed to

They state you cannot have your material available elsewhere for less than it is on Amazon and free would be less

But its not like they check.

My publisher advised that the Amazon select program was a bad idea from the getgo. I didn't even read what it entailed, but our approach is to distribute widely, so no way we'd suck into any exclusive distribution deals. If Amazon insists on it, we'd just drop them. They no longer are the elephant in the distribution room anyway--and has been noted here and about they aren't supportive of small publishing operations or self-publishing. (And I don't blame them, given the headaches and mountain of much--but not all--drivel these entail)

And packaging is the way to go on floating reads here and then repacking them for the marketplace without deleting them here. (or vice versa, selling them in collections and after a few months splitting them up in separate stories for here--I have stories for here banked into 2014).

LOL, you are a ba-a-ad boy, LC. Pass the popcorn to the left.

I'll pass it but be warned its dry.

I have better uses for the hot butter.

ROFL, don't tell the naive MILF from Stepford! I don't want to know. Or better yet, I'll read about it in one of your books.

:)

OMG!!! He's going for the old penis-in-the-popcorn trick! Talk about retro!!

Way to go, Lovecraft!!!

What a set-up, Naoko; you're better than Lucy!

For lack of a better word select is a scam and I do not know anyone who is happy that has tried it

The anthology angle is a good idea but short for me is 12k so I just sell all my stuff as stand alones

Three 12,000-word stories in a themed collection, and you have a 36,000-word anthology under a new title. My anthologies go up to 270,000 words, so there's really nothing against high word count short stories in a collection. Traditionally, the short story parameters had a 20,000-word ceiling.

I know it's all the rage to say this but...Wow..that escalated quickly.

Thanks for all the welcomes. And weird posts. Luckily, I got no weird private messages.

Sorry about that oversight.

Just remember to post the required three nude pics of yourself within the next 24 hours.

No, Amazon wouldn't give a rat's ass, nor did I suggest that they would, Safe-bet Usurper. You know, you don't really have to go at a stretch like this to illustrate that you are playing the bitter bitch persona role.

That's what I meant about the trolls. Sometimes I need Bengay for my neck from watching the volleys and smashes. This ain't your daddy's tennis match. I prefer to make love not war. ;)

W-w-whack! Bad, Tio. Spike don't listen to him. Nude pics are only for the ladies and you have 72 hours. LOL.

As far as I can tell, I'm male.

Stand by while I check my pants.

Yep. It's all there, male genitalia.

We'll not tolerate sexual discrimination here, Neko; we don't want Stella after our tails, now do we?

Besides, I'm sure most of the ladies, as well as a few of the others, would love to see the newby new boy nude!

You can't go solely by that. I've got a jar of "male genitalia" on my mantel and it is very feminine.

(the mantel, that is. The ""male genitalia" is more "mushroomy")

As long as we're getting Linnean, how's the pearl in your mantle?

My dilemma is do I make more selling 3 at 2.99ea or 1@ $5.99 or sonewhere around there.

The difference is that you have them on your mantle. I have them in my pants and attached to my body.
