I've been thinking—when the story's main character is being treated with a particular toy, and the reader is experiencing the same toy at the same time, could that create a unique and special connection? It's an idea that really fascinates me.


I've also seen similar works from different countries and cultures, and I find the variety of stories truly fascinating. I'd love to share and discuss ideas with you all.

I'm not sure about the precise situation you describe, but your physical circumstances when you read a story can enhance the experience.

For instance, my story While She Watches Them takes place in a dark room. @PadTy commented, "I, appropriately, read this one in a darkened room, feeling as though I was watching him, watching her, watching them. Very well done!"

This would be one of the easier settings to match, though. Orgies with tentacled demons might be a bit beyond most casual readers.

On a related note, a while back someone described a consensual non-consent scene that begins with the female character listening to a non-consent story on her headphones until the "intruder" surprises her and has his way. I mentioned that it would be incredibly hot if the audio continued to play, so she's listening to the story that aroused her in the first place while also being molested in actuality.

It's a story I might still write one day.

I know of a sex toy manufacturer that does this. They have these wearable toys and app from which to listen to a story that simultaneously operates the toy. (Obviously the app can also be used to operate the toy in other ways.) Cool idea but their stories suck

The thing with stories like that is that it’s difficult to have an impactful story so short. Also zero characterization but I suppose everyone is supposed to automatically insert themselves and their crush or something.
