Now it's a waiting game. ...

I'm praying for you WQ.

I'm praying the fires burn that ugly prison tat off your skank tit.

Got it. So you left your house, got to the end of your road, and the cops stopped you and told you to leave. You then pulled the car over, pulled out your phone or tablet, and posted the following to Lit--including the part about how you and the kidlet were ABOUT to leave, even though you'd already left. Is that right?

Hi, WQ--

In all the excitement, you forgot to answer this question. Who can blame you! Anyway, hopefully the flames have settled down to the point that you can answer now.

Also, I recall you opened the gate and let all the animals out. Were you able to get them all back? That's a lot of cows roaming free to track down! How did you get them all back?

The catch WQ in an obvious lie game is way more fun than make vette admit he cybered ken game or the make vette admit karen was ken game.

That Karen ken shit been going I know ten years that shit gets old
how many times can you beat a dead horse:confused:
Guess some like the drama around it.

So, just to explain my confusion, WQ.

First you said:
We have been ordered to evacuate by the police....the kidlet and I are about to leave.

Wish us luck!

Then you said:

I haven't been evacuated by the authorities.

When I asked you about it, you said:

When I got to the end of my road, the cops told me to leave.
I was already on the way.

The confusing part is that you'd previously said that after you were ordered to evacuate...:

We have been ordered to evacuate by the police.
The animals are free (all gates are open) and the kidlet and I are about to leave. Wish us luck!

Which is weird, if you'd already left when you met the authorities. When did you make that post? On the side of the road, after cops had told you to get the heck out of there? Why the "about to leave" part, if you'd already left? You can see my confusion.

Also, I'm very concerned about your animals. Remember, you said:

The animals are free (all gates are open)

That's a lot of cattle. Your business must be completely ruined. What will you do??

Ok, it was a bit of a hectic night, so I will try to clear things up...

First we were told to leave within 1/2 hour.
Ten mins later, the firies came up to assess the southern boundary (closest to the fire) and told us it was ok to stay.
Then my no1son came up to collect his little brother and take him to his place, leaving me here.
Then the police came up and told me they were re-issueing an evac, telling me to pack and leave within the hour.
Then the firies came back from the boundary and rescinded the evacuation, saying I was ok to stay.
Then the wind changed, and I decided to leave as there were embers coming in.
As I drove down to the junction with the main road, the police were coming the other way and stopped to tell me we were under immediate evac and did I know how many more people were in my road.
For a few hours, all us residents sat down at one of the neighbours big dams in our cars and watched the firies attack the front as it came into the end of my street. The guy who owns that place lost 2 sheds full of hay.
Then, when everything was back under control, those of us living on the north side of the road were allowed back. And a coule of hours later, everyone else was let back in.

For now, we are under no threat level, but I spoke to the firies earlier and they told me they are still fighting hotspots and if the wind doesn't change, we'll all be ok.

Does that help?

Oh, and by 'opening all the gates' it means all the animals can move freely around the property from paddock to paddock - not that they can leave the property itself.

The weather report online from Sydney says Southeast Austrailia will be dropping back to the mid 30 Deg. C. range on Wednesday.

A minor break for the folks down under.

Insurance does wonders, so can liability.

I've seen the news and weather from your part of the globe.

Nice to see you post again.

Having insurance is good - but quite honestly, it doesn't matter how much insurance you have, there will always be things you cannot replace.
For example, I spent a good while last night trying to find my CadburyCat so I could load her in her crate and take her with me. I couldn't find her anywhere and had to leave without her.
I worried frantically the whole night.
She turned up about 9am this morning, safe and sound.

The cat went underground on you.

With your experience as a fraudster, you should be able to make a mint off the insurance claim!

Emergency services screened 731 properties in and around the worst-hit town of Dunalley, including 126 damaged or destroyed by fire, without finding any human remains.

Searches are continuing with the aid of a contingent of Victoria Police sworn in as special constables, and the preliminary screening is expected to be completed later on Wednesday.

As losses are counted, the damage bill is expected to be sharply higher than an initial $42 million total, according to the Insurance Council of Australia.

Many property owners have been unable to return to homes in the fire-affected region, and police said a major priority would be to expedite entry to intact residences. There have been no reports of looting, police confirmed.

Animal welfare advocates warned that a crisis was growing in fire-affected regions, with landowners prohibited access to check on animals in their care.

“It is imperative that the animal feed so generously donated by the public gets to its intended recipients immediately” said Chris Simcox, spokesman for Against Animal Cruelty Tasmania.

"Authorities are currently preventing people from providing proper care to their animals, and this is not good enough,” Mr Simcox said.

Nice to see you post again.

I was going to try and catch a few more hours of sleep today, but there's still 9 crews attending this fire and the wind has now changed direction again and is gusting up to 35km/hr.
No official threat alert, but the radio is telling people in my area to be vigilant, and there are ash-eddies flying up.
So, another cup of coffee and continued vigilance for now.

Dunally is a totally different fire to the two in my area last night!
I posted links - you'd look a little less like a dickhead if you'd checked before posting ;)

I'm not interested in you or Tasmania...if the whole place roasted to a crisp it's no skin off my nose.

But since Australia was founded by criminals and you have experience at ripping off a bank, dinging the insurance company for the stuff you never had should be right up your alley.

Your Prime Minister, by the way, looks like a bored housewife. Tell her to start dressing and acting more Prime Ministerial.
