Sex toys for Bi/ Lesbian girls ?

Ok, I still class myself as Bi, But I've always felt uneasy with the whole 'realistic penis design' of a lot of sex toys... I understand why hetro girls want them, but I've just never felt like playing with one myself

Just ordered myself one, a ;Lelo Nea ... looking forward to getting it in my hand!...Counting the days in fact lol..

What shape and design do you women like?..Anyone feel the same as me?

Louisa, yes! In fact, I'm designing a line of toys right now. They will be those basic shapes, but-- decorated, like jewelry. If Marie Antoinette had asked the Royal jeweler to make her a strapon so she could play with her milkmaids... Or if Alice B. Toklas wanted to give Gertrude Stein a night to remember...

I once saw a pic of an ancient ivory dildo with naked bodies and people making love in various positions carved into it. It was a beautiful work of art.

It looked a little like this... but the images were smaller and much more numerous.

Thinking rationally about this, I know that the perfect shape to fit a vagina is the form of the male penis... A million plus years of evolution can't be wrong, but when I'm with a woman, or on my own, I dont really want a big thick viened penis of rubber to remind me that I really should be hetro

Thanks for your post though.. Glad you are getting designs made up, and really good luck with that

Great tohave feed back

Personally I love cock but I actually don't think it's the ideal shape to please female anatomy, so the toys I own tend to be more abstract shapes. My favorite dildo is basically a series of large beads on a stick, all coated in plastic for easy cleaning. The beads do a good job of hitting my g-spot. I also have a bullet vibe, which again is just an oval bead with a vibrator inside, a cord and a remote.

Realistically, though, fitting a vagina is more for the guy, anyway, since the actual vaginal canal isn't exactly sensitive. A woman's cunt is much better stimulated by external oriented things or something with a nice curve to hit the G-spot.

I've been making toys for a long time in fact! I turn some of them on a lathe. The problem with that is that I can't really turn a bend!

One of the wooden designs I have made is a little like an egg on a stick;

That is beautiful! A work of art. I remember reading a story about a business woman going to so Southeast asian country for business. As part of the transaction, she was invited for a week's long stay at a 'spa' where they expand the horizons of pleasure. Unbenonst to her, it was a spa only for women. She was introduced to a dialation technique involving the succeeding incertion and removal of smooth wooden dildos. Each one just a fraction larger than the previous. The elderly administrator took great pleasure in introducing the western businesswoman to true disiplines of pleasure and she had the most powerful orgasm of her life. They had only gotten through a third of the set of dilators. The story closed with the promise of more pleasures to come.

I'm with you on the realistic look, not my cup of tea. I also believe women have improved on the shape of these phallic devices. Some wonderful curves to hit just the right spot, or ridges that tug and tease as they go in and out... mmmmm.

But as for the penis, I have always felt it is not the penis but what it is attached to is the problem. :)

Mmm... that does sound yummy! But I have to say that I like my fingers as "dilation devices." With my whole hand within her at the end, the big thumb joint gently but implacably vibrating against her G Spot...

Wow! That has got to be ... amazing. I certainly can imagine you taking such good care of her under your attention.

LOL. I know what you mean. I've actually never used a dildo; and if I were to, I probably wouldn't want it to resemble a penis too accurately. I'm not sure if I'd prefer the woman to penetrate me or me to penetrate her when it comes to dildos. I'm just not all that interested in them, but not opposed to them either...since they do go farther than fingers, and let's face it: the vagina was meant to be penetrated.

Yeah but you really don't need to go in much further than your fingertips anyway-- that's where your gspot is. Get it going and you will feel very, very full. :kiss:

Oh my god....come to my house!

Very good question, Lou!

My girlfriend is a bit squeamish about anything too realistically phallic - eg the kind that has all the detail (glans, foreskin, veins, bollocks). I make the point to her that her vagina is more or less penis-shaped.

Personally, I don't really care what it looks like - it's how it feels inside me that counts.

Anally, I tend to find the phallic ones feel very nice - I love the sensation you get from the detail.

That's not really true though. Evolution isn't about perfecting what we use things for, it's about perfecting the delivery of genes. So a penis isn't a perfect pleasure device, it's an effective sperm delivery system, which doesn't necessarily mean pleasure. I mean, evolution didn't perfect our feet so much that shoes couldn't improve on it.

I'm a gold star, making all my experience with penises entirely cerebral. My girlfriend, on the other hand, has had boyfriends and sex with men before she realized how gay she was, and she doesn't like the realistic penises anymore than I do. We're both into toys and strapons, both giving and receiving with them, and our favorites usually involve some sort of external clit stimulator, which the natural looking penis ones typically don't have.

I'm also way into fashion. The color schemes, tones, patterns, and lines on so many of the toys can make them works of art. I have more than a few toys in my collection that are there simply because they are beautiful to look at (even if they're not particularly good at getting me off).

Lovely post, Lizzy - you sum this all up much better than I could!

Your relationship reminds me a little of ours. When I was younger, I had boyfriends and sex with men, before I realised, like your girlfriend, how gay I am. Today, my feelings about the penis are neutral. It doesn't arouse me, but neither does it repulse me - so I have no hang-ups about a phallic dildo, as long as it feels good inside me.

My own girlfriend has never had any kind of sexual liaison with a man. She finds the whole idea of male genitals rather off-putting, or at best utterly unerotic, and is generally squeamish about the penis. As a consequence, she much prefers sex aids which don't refer directly to the male anatomy.

You make a very good point that the penis has evolved as a means of sperm delivery, not female pleasure. The same applies to the vagina, if you think about it. I suppose the question is then - are dildos inspired by the penis, or take as a starting points the needs of female sexual response?

Of our toys, my favourite is the Feeldoe - which is supposedly designed specifically for lesbians, and on the criteria above, is something of a compromise.

The wearer's end - the vaginal bulb - is clearly nothing like a cock. The receiver's end is rather phallic, and includes a facsimile of the glans at the tip, which I suppose is strange for a toy aimed at gay women.

However, it's not exactly the same shape, and in my experience, gives me a very snug, satisfying, vaginal penetration. It's longer and thicker than most penises I ever encountered, and it has special ridges to engage our clitorises - which cocks don't. It's not flesh coloured - one of ours is gloss black, and the other scarlet. And being made of silicone, not flesh, it certainly smells nothing like a penis.

The Feeldoe was invented by a lesbian. ;) The story is even written out if you find the Feeldoe site. It's not specifically marketed at lesbians, though. It's just as good for guys with ED problems and women that like to fuck guys in the ass, too.

Some women like to fuck women in the arse, too!

okay, now i'm totally distracted;

How on earth can a guy wear a feeldoe? If he sticks it in his butt, he's lost half of the length!

*makes note to self, design something for men too*:D

Ladies, that glans design at the end of most dildoes... What would you prefer to see? Because I always want something-- for Gspot stimulation, and visual grace. Any ideas? Links to products you like?

Half the length? The vagina is what? A fraction of an inch from the woman's asshole? It's no different from the reduction in penis length from a guy putting on some weight over the years. Not only that, anuses are far stronger and tighter than any vagina will ever be. It doesn't have any of the slipping feeling women describe from sticking the bulb up their cunts. :cool: If you want to design a Feeldoe for guys, just make it an inch longer. Of course, 2-3 inches might be better since men and plus sized women are quite a bit bigger than the skinny chicks it was probably designed for. Even the extra long Feeldoe is only 6.75 inches, which would effectively be smaller than an average cock in actual use.

Good points, Infinity, thanks :rose:
<threadjack>
I'm also thinking that for men, a little proddy-thingie (technical term :D) just behind the balls might be a lovely sensation.
</threadjack>

Back to women's choices-- who loves what?

I'm designing free-swinging dangling accessories for my strapons and insertables- because a pair of swinging balls feel really good when you're getting it doggy style. But my accessories won't be testicals, they will be as decorative as the dildo-- and I think, they'll be removable.
