Well, dahling, exceptions can be made pour vous.![]()
I have no idea who Chuck is, and no clue why this would be funny. On another note, I am totally despondent over the lack of laughs over my funny about Chuck and Ice Cream.
Really, everyone...this is not supposed to be a serious thread.
Right?

(Ok, yeah...sometimes I get serious...but c'mon! I'm seeing a whole page of serious. And everyone ignored my funny.)

Not ignoring you, just culturally out of touch, I guess.
You'll find that Chuck was introduced to the Cafe in this thread.
Among other things, he may be the coldest dom who is active in this forum. Quite amazingly cold, in fact.
What did Chuck think of Farce of the Penguins?
Ah. Thanks for explaining. You'll find that Chuck was introduced to the Cafe in this thread.

Nope - I have signatures turned off.And then you have read Keroin's story, Vice Cream, linked in her signature to understand my joke fully.
A joke that has still not been appreciated sufficiently, I might add.

I actually read: "I'll get Chuck to fetch us some ice cream..."
Which was pretty hilarious, if you ask me....

Hilarious might be a tad overstated, LB, but I got this so readily at the time that I didn't realize that it was the Carol Burnett moment over which your heart has been melting for the last few days.![]()

Pondering my choices for the evening. It's almost warm enough to declare the opening of gin and tonic season.
Anyone taking bets on whether the Mouse has found her wine glasses so she can enjoy her Chenin Blanc?
There's a season for gin and tonic? When did this start?
For me, the g and t is a warm-weather drink. That means that in my neck of the woods (when we take the damn scarf off it), g and t season begins when the thermometer regularly shows temps over 70. In cold weather I prefer scotch. In all weather, I drink wine.
Mmm, I see. In my neck of the palm grove, G&T is dependent on the availability of the T, and sometimes on the availability of the G. Wine is kind of a last resort for me.
We have no shortage of supplies, only a shortage of appropriate conditions in which to use them. Life is always a trade-off of some kind, no?
Ain't that the truth.
And in my neck of the woods, Vodka (because Gin gives me a headache) and tonic are always a year-round drink. It is the Vodka and cranberry that I associate with summer. But that probably is a hold-over from coming to age in a part of the country with 4 actual seasons...
~LB

With each passing winter, I grow less fond of the whole four-distinct-seasons modality. I could enjoy a place where it's g and t season year-round.![]()

This is why so many old people live where I live.

Thou speakest with a sharp tongue, young wench. T'would be best kept in mind that some "old people" swing a mean crop.
