Faggots, niggers and kikes.

Peace and a lack of racial slurs.

Fighting for peace seems counter productive. I don't see how that reduces racial slurs and it certainly includes the chance of getting hurt.

I'm just a white guy who has lived with black people all his life. What do I know?

It's the same reason you spank your kids. Violence can be used to correct improper behavior.

I'm not saying I will always encourage violence when someone gets called a racial slur, but I certainly am glad that people are afraid to use racial slurs; whether their fear comes from the fear of pain, fear of filling out police forms, or just fear of making bigoted statements. I'm sure that fear has kept me from being called "nigger" on probably more than one occasion.

I'm not sure what sort of wisdom or street cred living with black people is supposed to have lent you.

Street cred? I don't understand the concept. I don't claim any.

It's called life experience, the process of observing what works and what doesn't work.

I think you over estimate the power of fear. Its hard to gauge someone else's fear.

Violence does nothing but bring more violence. If you are slurred by someone who is bigger, stronger and faster than you, what then? Which side does fear work for now? You could shoot him, but then you have a whole new set of fears to deal with now.

I don't think I do overestimate the power of fear, even if I can't always easily gauge someone else's at the moment.

If I am slurred by a bigger man than me, then I'll likely just insult him back. Or I could still fight him, get my ass kicked, but hope that he refrains from using the words on others from the small wounds I manage to inflict on him. And I get hurt for a noble cause.

In those instances, fear of using a racial slur does nothing. Regardless, I am thankful for the fear surrounding the use of racial slurs.

I'll share a little more of my hard earned wisdom. Use for what you want.

You are allowed a finite number of fights in your life. It doesn't matter what you are fighting over, or whether you win or lose. Its silly to waste them on name calling.

Hopefully, other people's fears will prevent me from ever having to fight over name calling.

And unicorns should exist. Some people don't have morals. So it pleases me to know that most nonblack people are aware that if they call a black guy a "nigger" to his face, they will get their ass kicked.

A man whose only reason for not killing is fear still kills less people than the man who has no fears at all.

I don't kill people for fear that I will deprive them of the life that they deserve.

I don't care what you call it, as long as it's being sucked.

"Vagina" is the new "cunt."

i'm right and you're wrong.
it's a given.
i don't know why you persist in trying to argue with me...because, being me, i'm bound to be right.

It's not fear that stops me using racial slurs - it's a basic respect for others and because I despise those words in general.

Not everything is fear motivated.

The people who use slurs are usualy trying to provoke. They are not afraid to fight. Usually they have done it before and have achieved their aim.

Those who do not use slurs are, generally, people who are tolerant and wish to be treated tolerantly. dolf makes a valid point about morality. Not that I like agreeing with a woman because all women are airheads who should be kept barefoot and pregnant, chained to the kitchen stove, and other stereotyping remarks.

This is great, Bronze.

She apparently iggied me. I didn't iggy her so she must have relented.

*Gets smug again*

Wait for it! Her next post will doubtless be "iggy"

did I ever tell you how hot you are when you do smug? You are lucky I'm in a crowded place or I'd self porn you :D

Not if you don't pronounce the second 'r." Then it's a term of endearment between retarded people.

I once had a person working for me who was slow to react when someone spoke, and every once in a while the person repeated it, a little louder. He always answered, "I'm weetwaaaded, not deaf, you ahhzhole."
