The special place in hell reserved for Sarah Palin...

Bullshit.
She does talk to the press (Katie Couric and all).
As for not being able to answer every question in that stump the candidate pop quizz, who cares ?
You want a VP with character, not one who's good at playing 'trivial pursuit'.

Sarah could not name one news paper she reads when Ms Couric asked her.

Even I can answer that question, and I am not even running for local dog catcher. I subscribe to my local newspaper and The New York Times. Every week I read The Washington Times, The New York Post, and The Wall Street Journal when each newspaper has something interesting on the editorial page. When I can get a copy, I read The Washington Post.

2) Of course. At that level you don't read indivual newspapers, you get your team reads to read 'em all and to give you a digest.

That was true of Ronald Reagan and George the Lesser. I am confident that Jimmy Carter, George the Greater, and Bill Clinton read several newspapers themselves every day. Even George the Lesser could have named several newspapers.

I don't read any of them. Unlike you and John McCain, we CAN use the internet.

I am amazed every single day at the commitment some Republicans have to defending a person who is, without a doubt, an absolute moron.

it kills me.

I'm not a Republican. I've always said that the old Bush Republican party was a complete disaster.

That's why America needs Mavericks like Palin to step up to the plate and start putting Washington in order.

So you read the Times and the Journal-Constipation every day do you...

I'll bet the people around you are just dying to elevate you.

Try the PTA... ACORN could always use a few good smart people...

You are now mate despite your spotless Bush-hate credentials.

Couldn't agree more.

Sarah's proven that she has the guts and the ability to stand up for the American people against the Washington elite, but just because she's a good looking woman everybody hates her.

I've seen this sort of petty jealousy at work, too.

Guts and ability to stand up for the american people (at least the ones that pro-life and also think that the earth is only 6000 years old), are great.... If you're starring in an action movie.

To lead our country, you need a little bit more in the way of comprehension of complex issues, which she lacks completely.

I have seen no one criticize her for being a woman, yet her defense is always "people don't like her BECAUSE she's a woman".

No, people don't like her because she's an inexperienced, small town elitist, who rubbed shoulders with the party to get where she is... who worked closely with oil companies, yet then claims she will work against them. Who has had her own share of scandals that she's conveniently brushed off, without addressing... Who believes that Noah's Ark is more that just a fairy tale, who wants to limit a woman's right to choose what to do with her own body... who has no foreign policy ideology... who has no economic ideology...

for starters.

I honestly have never felt embarrassed to be a woman before. Sure, there have been women (Melanie Griffith on any talk show comes to mind) that make me cringe because they are such stereotypes. Sure, I have lived in cultures in which being a woman made you a second class citizen. But I've always thought hey, it was their problem, not mine.

Until today.

Fuck your political drivel it's not important whereas, this is http://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?t=618718

She's an IDIOT. What is so hard to understand? She is not qualified to run my department, let alone the country.

Reading is for elitists.

That's because they're old fashioned politicos. All they cared about was getting elected, so what the media said was more important to them than the realities that faced their country.

One of the things that makes Sarah a true Maverick is that she attaches more importance to the concerns of ordinary Americans than she does to the opinions of the media elite.

And man, don't they just hate her for it !

Were you replying to another post, but accidentally quoted that one? Because your response, while not only making no sense, had nothing to do with the one you quoted.

Once again, ALASKANS are morons. It's a tiny state. She wasn't doing anything of importance, IT'S ALASKA!

The people who know her the least think she's stupid, while the people who know her best asked her to lead.

Like I said Aliah, and yes, I know I'm on ignore, but you are a second-class citizen and helping to keep yourself that way.

I'm not surprised, are you? Faulty logic and lapses in thought processes are prerequisites for Palin supporters. There is, however, no required reading.

Yes it is comparable to your and AJ's homoic love of Ishtard.

There's nothing wrong with being gay...

However, I do think there's something wrong with being in the closet.

I think they should just spread their wings and be who they want to be.

It's true that Sarah is a Christian from a small town, but so what ? Discriminating against her because of her faith or antecedents is just wrong. I'm just glad that she has more character than to impune Obama for HIS faith and antecedents.

As an Alaskan governor she had to work closely with oil companies because that's what effective Alaskan governors have to do.

Demonising the industry and then posturing against it may have won her more votes (and you can bet your ass that's what Obama would have done) but she ain't that kind of politician.

It's true that she has no foreign policy or economic policy ideology. Good ! Both the crash and Iraq were caused by politicians who followed ideologies instead of using common sense.

When it comes to foreign policy give me a common sense hockey mom like Sarah rather than some shiny eyed neo-con any day.

I agree except that it conjures up bizarre images of the "party" scene in "JFK" showing Kevin Bacon as Marie Antoinette and Tommy Lee Jones as the FTD florist guy and Joe Pesci in S&M garb.

Beegus, you're so full of shit your eyes must be brown.

You keep your nose outta my brown eye, pal.

I respect your right to be that way but that simply is not something that interests me a whole lot (OK maybe just a smidge, if i was a lil drunkie wunky).
