I miss that "Smiling Bob" guy. Haven't seen him in an Enzyte commercial for awhile......Carney (not too much of a snob to admit watching TV)

The people selling enzyte have been convicted of false advertising. Turns out the main guy also got 20 years for being one of the biggest spammers caught! Something I read on a tech site about two months ago.
I always said I'd belive those comercials when I saw a third of the women walking around suddenly bow legged and glassy eyed![]()
Naughty DP!
(I didn't know that about the spamming thing!)
The fine was over $3million and they each get 3 -5 for the false products charge.
The one that was a SPAM king got another $7 million in fines.
I told that joke in a programming class about 5 years ago when a lab partner complaind about a SPAM on that very subject. She was one of my lab partners, both female, and they laughed so loud the instructor came over.
They told her side and I told mine and he almost fell over.
The next day he said his wifes sides were still hurting after he told her.![]()
Well, we never believed the Enzyte commercials or anything. A non prescription sort of Viagra? Please.
But we like the commercials.

Enzyte is still hawking it's product in late night infomercials...
They still claim it will make a male organ bigger. Bigger than what they don't say.![]()
Bigger than - a breadbox?

The Enzyte scam wasn't so much false advertising -- of course that stuff doesn't work -- but mail fraud. They took your credit card number to charge postage for your "free sample" and that signed you up for an automatic weekly subscription from which it was impossible to resign. Once they had you, you were hooked.
Apparently they got that straightened out and promised not to do that anymore and now they're back in business, probably working some other angle.
Remember, all these "health food" cures don't have to be tested or prove a thing to be sold over the counter in this country. As long as they don;t specifically claim to cure a disease, they can say whatever they want and it's legal. The Health Food and Supplements Industries have some very powerful lobbying groups working for them.
