The new football thread

Falcons FIRE Raheem Morris right after the game. 🙃
That sucks. They were one game from winning the division. Pennix missed half the season. London missed 1/3 of it. Lost two games in OT, three more by three points or less. Beat buffalo and the rams. Feels like a team ready to be good real soon.

He had the wrong QB in there way too long,Penix is just too inaccurate.

10-0 Ravens

Can’t figure out why Eagles wouldn’t want to win and have home field advantage. I get the resting. I get they didn’t figure Bears would lose at home. I get that was their forumla last year. But still.

But I’m a Pats fan so no dog in The fight. Or bird.

Lets see we got

Packers @ Bears
49ers @ Eagles
LA Rams @ Panthers

Chargers @ Patriots
Bills @ Jaguars
Texans @ Ravens/Steelers

Almost bet they slot Panthers in on 4 30 Saturday but we'll see.

"I have great personal affinity for both Raheem and Terry and appreciate their hard work and dedication to the Falcons, but I believe we need new leadership in these roles moving forward," Falcons owner Arthur Blank said in a statement.

Love when they sling the bullshit. 🤔
I am glad it was done.... new people are being announced this morning.

You cannot lose to the 2025 Jets and then be surprised by the changes....

Boomer Esisason said years ago that 7 head coaches normally lose their jobs every year.

Which team would you want to take over as head coach?

John Harbaugh (Ravens)
Pete Carroll (Raiders)
Kevin Stefanski (Browns)
Raheem Morris (Falcons)
Jonathan Gannon (Cardinals)
Brian Daboll (Giants)
Brian Callahan (Titans)
I like Pennix and think the Falcons have the best roster of those seven for the next few years (Ravens probably have more right this second but they are not built for long term).
