After a rash of incidents of the flags of England being flown in public and police officers being caught on video seizing them or otherwise removing those flying them, the Sussex police have a statement.

“In less fractious times, seeing your flag normally instils feelings of belonging and pride,” Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Katy Bourne said. “It is clear, however, that in some places, the appearance of flags is making some communities feel deliberately targeted and intimidated. That may or may not be the intention of those putting the flags up but it is clearly creating anxiety and potential flashpoints.”

“Local authorities have reported that their staff and contractors have been abused and threatened when removing flags from council property – mainly for safety reasons and to prevent potential breaches of the peace.”
We are aware of the recent increase in the displaying of flags across Sussex and the impact it is having on our communities.

Where are the men?

Reichguide you’d feel very at home in England at the moment. It’s a similar sort of politics to that that you espouse.



It’s supported and partially funded by wealthy right wingers, much like the pseudo news you present daily here, and fed by the right of centre press and Facebook. It’s designed to cause division and to encourage easy solutions to migration.

It does however make the country look a mess, they’re hanging everywhere and many small roundabouts are painted too. There are even vigilantes patrolling the streets nightly to stop “lefties” taking them down.

They can be quite intimidating when seen in numbers, and they represent an easy knee jerk politics similar to yours. No notion or concern for empathy, just bullies insisting their views are just and correct. No debate and plenty of bluster, sound familiar?

It’s an inarticulate movement, convinced they’re right, and like yourself and your posts willing to post/fly untruth with no consequence. Pity the poor police who have to stop blowhards trying to burn down asylum hostels.

Many long for the day these cheap, tacky flags weather and fade, hopefully before violence ensues.

And a final point , the real men are those actively involved volunteering in communities to help cohesion and to use their free time positively.

Go and look up the nature of patriotism in a dictionary, they're not patriots just flagshaggers.
There is no moorish invasion either, and many of those involved in the raising the colours movement have convictions for sexual abuse, both domestic and juvenile.

So it doesn't happen?

Not so much “on the streets”, as you word it.

It’s organised, behind closed doors, and was facilitated by all the authorities that are supposed to prevent/detect/prosecute the guilty - because their leadership were afraid it might show up later on their cv as some sort of racism if they went after what were obviously groups of men of a common ethnicity…..we all know which.

Their prey were usually poor kids who’d lost their way, grown up in care or whatever….and could be groomed, particularly with narcotics.

It was easier for the system to regard these poor souls as white trash, than it was to deal with the fact they weren’t lying.
