I did not see the Pats being in first place at any point this season. They've continued to improve week to week and they're looking like a solid playoff team at this point. They're not contenders yet but in another 2-3 years they should be.

Sidenote- The interaction of the booth guys with sideline reporter Pam Oliver was fun when she avoided getting run over and when she said the player was polite to make sure she was ok. Weirdly, I dig Pam after seeing her in person with her thong panties visible from the back of her jeans
