It is certainly true that we can develop allergies as we age, or that they get stronger. But I would be very skeptical of a tik tok claiming it’s more likely in your favorite snacks.

Will I go into shock and my throat clinch tight?

I think the protein that gives the allergic reaction has already been digested, and surely is not present in any form in sweat or semen.
So unless you dip yourself in milk , cover yourself in ice cream or flour, breadcrumbs or biscuits (all delicious ideas by the way) I think your allergic lover is safe

BUT
Depending on the level of severity of the allergy, an allergic person might have a reaction after a kiss if you just ate something containing the allergen… because in your mouth the protein might still be present undigested.

To stay on the safe side, brush your teeth or drink some water, at least..

Let’s talk about Man-boys. I’m not sure that’s the proper term, but I’m going with it. All guys everywhere have a hobby, obsession, collection, etc.

For some guys it’s tools, cars, knives, guns, etc. “Man Stuff”, if you will.

For other’s, it’s a little “Less Manly”: Action figures, comic books, Blu-ray collections, things that maybe you don’t tell your girlfriends about, or maybe it make your eyes roll.

My husband doesn’t collect much, actually. Maybe baseball hats.

No, but again, none of them have ever had real collections. That saiddd…

I have lived with someone who was a “collector”. From my earliest memories, I recall stacks of blank CDs, rows of heavy manila-flavoured computer monitors, shelves of tiny metal cars.

As I grew older, the obsessions became more invasive and expensive. Old cars, real ones, that were nice to look at when they arrived but eventually, well, they’ve just become driveway ornaments.

So now I sort of, maybe, purposely avoid intimate relationships with men who lean too far one way. Maybe I need that room for my own obsessions collections

My husband is the least comic book guy out of my three relationships, but he’s still not a tool guy.

Hahahaha, I mean. Yes. My dolls, mainly, I mean, it’s gotten a bad rep. The stigma is so strong we aren’t all insane. I am, but not all of us! And they aren’t creepy, they’re cute.

Ah, well. He supports me and my interests - my knitting, the dolls, the random Facebook marketplace pick ups for vintage McDonalds holiday ornaments…

I support him and his interests - I know a thing or two (and that’s it) about the Canadiens hockey team, I grab him a hat when I’m at the mall. We eat together every night and watch a shared brain-rot TikTok account on the tv.

I think it would be niceeee if we could share a deeper interest or two, but I’m also very lucky to have the space to have my own hobbies. The space to make friends.

1) do they live on the bed?
2) do they live on shelves overlooking the bed, forming an audience of wax-faced judgement for whatever is happening in the bed?

No! No, the bed is just for sleeping. And knitting. And a few other activities, no dolls involved

They live in my walk in closet in the spare room, in a glass shelf andddddd in tote bags and boxes scattered around. So… yes, I can see them from the bed in there and they can see me. But like, they’re cute and pretty. Not scary.

None are life sized and none talk The pollypocket are much tinier than the Bratz, but I don’t have as many.

It’s a totally insane hobby!
