🌟📬THE JULY PM CHALLENGE📬 :: Year Five📮🌟

Okilydokily ☺️ I have caught up, although I only sent one message to one unique individual per day.

This person was one of the first ones to reach out after my inquisitive return back to the boards. They helped remind me that I wasn’t still some naive AMPics poster who was afraid of her own shadow and words - that I should do whatever I wanted to do.

And clearly, I have been doing that ever since 😋

I could have messaged half a dozen other people who have been here for me, not just in the past six months but the past decade. Maybe I chose the easy way out by not extending that line again… but maybe it’s a sign of growth that I don’t need to push those boundaries anymore.

Anyway.

I can manage 1 a day… easy 😇
Nice to see you ❤️

I've been so lucky that I've been able to meet and get to know some absolutely amazing humans on this quirky, pervy little site.

Through them I've learned a lot about myself. My confidence has improved (no, really) too.

I've sent messages to the ones who have seen me when my mental health is kicking my arse and have never judged or backed away. Ones I would be glad to meet in person and have in my life. Ones who's warmth and kindness shine brightly.
I'm thankful to them all 💜
You are one of the nicest, most genuine people I've had the pleasure to meet here.

We all suffer downs as well as experience ups (apart from me, I'm permanently a little ray of bitter fucking sunshine 😁)

You meet the people you deserve 😘

Sent mine out.

Was actually more emotional than I thought it’d be. I messaged my bestie because she’s my true soul sister and her coming back at me with “That’s why we will be ghosts together ❤️🥹🥰

I also messaged a couple of Lit friends that I’m so glad I’ve gotten to know. They’ve been there for me so much and I’m better for having them in my life. Plus they make me smile a lot and that’s not nothin’ 😁

It’s a very important thing to me that people I like know I like them. I’ve lost people too young and I make it a point to make sure there’s no doubt in folks minds.

But, I do admit that after being here as a while there’s enough folks I know and like that I don’t always check in before my attention is out spanned. So I tried to correct that today 😁

PM CHALLENGE - DAY SEVEN

PM at least one Litster from another country and ask them something about their region.

1. You can ask something as simple as what their favorite local dish is but let's please keep it positive and curious.

2. When you've sent your PM, come let us know by telling us one place in the world you'd love to travel one day if money was no object for THREE prize tickets.

Reminders -
*The original rules can be found here.
*The whole exercise is to meet new people and this is an easy challenge to do that.

Day 7's done and I just messaged my favorite Australian. Or maybe my favourite Australian. They also put extra u's all over the place, don't they?

If I were traveling, I've always wanted to visit the Mont Saint-Michel commune in Normandy. It just captures my imagination and looks like something out of a Tolkien book. Although, if I go there and I find it's not populated by elves, I'll be very disappointed.

That said, that's a conceivably attainable goal, financially. At least, down the road.
If money were truly no object, I'd go to Scotland. Not for a day or a week. But for a couple years. University of St. Andrew's has a doctoral research program (or maybe it's a programme?) in Religion & Politics that I'd LOVE to do. But that's something I'd only be able to consider if our family hit the Powerball or something and we didn't have to work to support ourselves.

Day 7 Complete.

I don't know why but I've always wanted to visit Machu Picho. I've never met anyone who's been there but from what I've seen online, including YouTube, it just seems like such a surreal place to visit.

Or

Easter Island - because why not?! Lol

Give head near a giant head?
