It’s a tough situation. I think the individual means well. I keep typing more and deleting it as I don’t want to bash or misconstrue.

Happy to have found this today! I hadn’t been on in a while and all of the old threads I used to visit have definitely lost some steam over time. I have never replied to a man on here (that I’m aware of )—but they sure are prevalent in every thread I’ve ever enjoyed.

This is the only one that is strictly man-free. The mod is helpful in making sure that's how it stays.

Half my outside-the-house summer wardrobe is sundresses. The other half is sunscreen!

As a (pseudo) Southerner, I could say it's not that bad. But that would be a lie. I like summer mainly because I'm only about two hours from a beach, and I love the ocean. It's okay as long as you avoid the hot pavement...and sand...and direct sunlight...and mosquitoes...and metal...and the seat of your car...oh, and the steering wheel...and...

Well, okay, just stay inside!

My bf is so great about my stances on things like working in the sun. Yardwork? I’ll help before 10:00 AM or after 5:00, but not in between. He’s got a darker complexion, dark hair, dark eyes, and his skin tans. I can’t even imagine experiencing that, lol. I burn in MINUTES and it doesn’t ever turn into a tan later; I’m white-white, pink, or red. No other options. I do like my freckles, though.

We are taking off soon for a beach vacay. I have soooo much sunscreen packed.
