Donald Trump may be President of the fallen, US Republic, but a basic political conclusion to be drawn from recent events suggests that he rules on behalf of a capitalist oligarchy.

The basic outline of events is clear. Trump initiated his plan to impose drastic tariffs on virtually every country in the world, said that there would be no retreat, scoffed at plunging markets snd told us that this is a “great time to invest.”

Mere hours later, Trump huddled with two billionaire advisers, Treasury Secretary Bessent and Commerce Secretary Lutnick, who related the Wall Street consensus that a financial catastrophe was imminent. Trump went to his oddly named, Truth Social media platform, to announce a 90-day tariff war “pause.” Except for China.

Wall Street needed a course correction, and got it. The trillions in market losses and the tremors in the Treasury market were enough to force a sudden, if temporary, retreat.

The Democratic Party pleads impotence as DT dismantles democratic rights, does trade war and makes fascist proclamations. Why? They share the same class interests.

The Democrats as much as Republicans, serve the financial oligarchy and will not mount any genuine opposition to policies that defend its wealth and global position.

The administration isn’t Trump’s creation. It is the political instrument of the capitalist oligarchy. The destruction of democratic rights isn’t a result of Trump’s authoritarian impulses, It’s a result of the conscious reconfiguration of the state to reflect the social reality of class rule by a tiny elite.

There are fierce ‘in-house’ ruling class conflicts as oligarchs duke it out over how best to preserve their dominance and to suppress rising social opposition.

The class character of the capitalist state leads to an inescapable conclusion: The working class must break with ALL factions of the ruling class and take up the fight to overthrow capitalism.
 
I'll be honest - I am continually amazed of the "dear leader" type rhetoric.

When I grew up, hearing other countries propaganda praising their head of state was the biggest red flag of things that our country was against. Hitler has salutes. Un and Xi have the "country first, leader is the best" approach. Stalin....etc

When I heard that type of shit. ..I was happy that my country was not like that.

I noticed that you have cited numerous statements from this Brynn Tannehill, so I looked "her" up. Shock of shocks, she can't decide if she's a girl or a man. I can't see the Navy accommodating "her" with a private bathroom, just as I can't imagine "her" female shipmates sharing their bathroom with "her" dick hanging out. Also, NONE of these statements cite any actual facts to back up "her" claims. I'm just wondering if all these claim are just figments of "her" overactive mind.
