Republican Leadership Is A Threat To America

The leopards at the buffet.

Tornado victims blocked from federal recovery aid after Trump denied request

The Trump administration denied Republican Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ request for individual and public assistance following an outbreak of severe storms and tornadoes that also affected neighboring Mississippi and Missouri and left more than 40 people dead.

The denial follows executive orders signed by Trump seeking to shift the burden of disaster response and recovery from the federal government onto states, as extreme weather becomes increasingly destructive and costly in a warming world. It is unclear how states will fill the financial void, which for decades has been viewed as a federal responsibility given the wide-reaching, multi-state nature of disasters.

But, like everything else, DonOld ultimately caved after more storms hit the areas mentioned.

The orange POS tried…

We. Told. Them. So.

They whine about DEI, but then hire the most incompetent ass kissers. Why would you hire a drunk (More like DUI hire) to head defense? An inept person who doesn't know anything about medicine and human health to head the health department?

The only reason they bitch about DEI besides being insecure and mediocre is so they can hire rich loyalists who lick their boots.

I've preached the CliffsNotes version for years now.

The seeds were planted before Obama:

• O.J. Simpson being acquitted:

• Reginald Denny getting bricked.

• THEN: Obama; DACA, and the acknowledgment by Obama that racism was alive and well in American institutions:.

All of those ^ things provided the Tea Party, The MAGAts, and their ilk with the "ammunition" (bullshit narrative material) to persuade enough persuadable voters that the Democrats were "radical", and were to blame for everything. (The tough economic times left by Shrub Bush, and the timing of the Arab Spring didn’t help matters.)

The rest is history.

🤬

The real reason 60 Minutes lost their boss. It's nuts.

Grew up on 60 Minutes. Have respect for Scott Pelley. But because I am an unforgiving asshole who is currently still pissed at the spineless MSM and their continued kid glove handling of trump - fuuuuuuucccccckkkkk this!!!

The press objected en masse solidarity when Obama hinted at pulling the press credentials of a propaganda/entertainment company passing itself as news. Questions directed at Biden were shouted with no care for decorum and now you politely cowtow to a clueless dipshit with softball questions.
When he banished your colleagues from the AP - you sat saying nothing!

Hey! Scott Pelley and the rest of you at 60 Minutes! Wanna carry on the esteemed journalistic integrity left behind by the likes of Morley Safer?
THEN FUCKIN FOLLOW YOUR PRODUCER RIGHT OUT THE GODDAMN DOOR!

Goodnight and good luck.

This has stuck with me since I read last night. This is about as concise a telling of how we got here as I’ve seen. I would only add the bush years and the mantra of “you are either with us or against us” which to this day allows republicans to believe that Democratic ideas/ideals are anti-American and their use of violence against others can be justified.
