Nice! Very nice!
Dear, this is "The Brat House"... and while we do have "Upper Management" around... um... we're brats... so... do not try to give us orders.you put that right back where it came from

I am contemplating "Il faut imaginer Sisyphe heureux.""Aujourd'hui Maman est morte."
You seriously used James May, the eldest and most boring of the trio (nicknamed Captain Slow) for a gif about me?@MischiefMakerAlways continues to refuse to show me that booty!!
Are you saying you, "ain't a high class broad?"After a few drinks, I do get more southern. I'm a southern belle, but also a smidge of a redneck woman.

That might not go where you want....
I was right!!! I thought that was James May! I figured I was mistaken. But if an old timer like you says it was Captain Slow, then clearly... I was right. You seriously used James May, the eldest and most boring of the trio (nicknamed Captain Slow) for a gif about me?
Oh.. that's why. Not because you are concerned the brat might take a whack at you, huh? This is further reason as to why you'll never see my ass!
I dunno....Are you saying you, "ain't a high class broad?"

1942. Camus' "The Myth of Sisyphus." One of the most important essays for me, it talks about taking joy in existing, apart from anything else. It focuses upon Sisyphus choosing, every time, to take up his rock again, knowing it will fall, but making that choice. The full line translates to "The struggle itself towards the heights is enough to fill a man's heart; one must imagine Sisyphus happy."Sisyphus ??? Okay... another way over my head. I get "sissy puss" out of that. No idea what that means. Probably some crusty old book from centuries or millenniums ago... meanwhile, I'm wondering if I can get back issues of "Cosmo..."
I have long thought there isn’t something I like so much, that I want to see it on my body 5, 10, 20 years from now. But statistically speaking, at 58, I won’t make it another 20 years anyway.
Okay, being more serious. Seeing these posts, I was thinking is there something I really would want on me? And I realize I should actually tattoo something I need to remind myself. Something I say to myself when I feel a bit low, and need to be reminded of how far I have come. Something like “Brenda kicks ass!!”.
But it needs to be a place for me to see. It isn’t about someone else, it isn’t meant for anyone else. It matters to me, to remind me, when I feel low…. So where is the right spot for that?
I’m pretty sure that’s a Bostonian accent. I heard it in Good Will Hunting. I swear.
That's lovely.1942. Camus' "The Myth of Sisyphus." One of the most important essays for me, it talks about taking joy in existing, apart from anything else. I don't like pain enough for the whole quote...
You seriously used James May, the eldest and most boring of the trio (nicknamed Captain Slow) for a gif about me?
Never say never...This is further reason as to why you'll never see my ass!
Well, I'm not saying it... but if I had Christmas lights, they'd probably be on my front porch all year long...Are you saying you, "ain't a high class broad?"
Yes. I agree. FWIW.I want one on my inner forearm with a quote from a song and an image that it evokes for me... something I never want to forget. I think that's what tattoos are for me now, something meaningful.
I’m a very sheltered monkey. All I know about Boston I learned from Mattfleck and hating the Celtics with a fiery passion of fire that has transcended and outlived my love of the LakersHow dare you!

English please...I am contemplating "Il faut imaginer Sisyphe heureux."
English please...

Okay, who's your favorite, Captain Slow, Hamster, or Jezzer? Notice I'm not going to go back and forth on ages here... But, I am young enough that I'm probably the only person in my generation that could tear down a 4 barrel Holly, Quadrajet, etc. and rebuild them to better-than-new performance.I was right!!! I thought that was James May! I figured I was mistaken. But if an old timer like you says it was Captain Slow, then clearly... I was right.
No, not afraid at all. I'll show mine after you show yours!Oh.. that's why. Not because you are concerned the brat might take a whack at you, huh?
You do not frighten me!I dunno....
...okay... I admit... you know damn well neither of those two would take a whack at you... they don't have any "switch" tendencies... but me?
